the employees working here are always so friendly and provide prompt service, and the food is fantastic! they have a lunch special where you can get a full sized sandwich with any of their soups or salads for only $11.75, anywhere else i go im paying at least $15 for a half sandwich and small side!!! the value here is great and it tastes good, win win!

Grubhub has a really good offer on Mr Gyro for first orders- $10 off of $15! So I got a gyro plate and hummus and baklava. Workers in the front are all on their cell phones. The food was decent, but not good enough to come back without a huge coupon again. I was so excited- I've been to Greece and love baklava. It tasted old- not made today. I would guess not made in house. The hummus is definitely lacking. Gyro meat was fine. The plate part was lacking with just meat and olives, tomato. There's places nearby much better.

This is the worst customer service I've ever had. And it happened twice. The girl at the front counter ignores people when they walk in and then texts on her phone. And the men behind the counter keep staring at us. How uncomfortable.

This place is surprisingly neat! Loved the building with its clean, modern architecture. The inside is very inviting, lots of seating and natural light! They were busy with take out orders so we had to wait for our food for a little bit. Our number was finally called so we got up to pick them up at the counter. All dinners came with a small Greek Salad. I ordered the Salmon Dinner which also came with rice which was a lot for a tiny piece of salmon. It was pretty good though. The Greek Salad was fresh and you can taste the olive oil in the dressing. Chris had the Souvlaki Dinner which also came with rice. He said the beef was very tender and flavorful and he liked the tzatziki as well. Rhi had the Chicken plate but ate mostly the Chicken and the na'an. She obviously isn't a salad fan. Lol. The place is clean and very inviting. If you're looking for a healthy place to eat, Mr. Gyro is your place.

The food always tastes good but is it worth the cost? I remember when a chicken plate was $9-$10 (I guess I'm showing my age) now it's $16 with a $2.99 soda. And portions are smaller. Still four pieces of grilled chicken breast, but about half the size and the salad that was heaping is now the equivalent of a handful of salad. I think I'll be heading to Hen House for their fresh salad bar at only $8.99 lb.

Where else can you get freshly made Greek food with delicious desserts, cultural music, and clean and tidy dining room? It's here. The chicken plate was freshly grilled with a zesty Greek side salad. I also had the galaktebureka (sp?), it's a custard dessert, super YUMMY.

We ordered several lunches for the office for a birthday lunch. Some were good, others were not so good. I ended up paying more than $12 for the lunch special and it contained brown lettuce, overheated gyro meat that was dried up and partially dried but parts soggy pita. It was terrible and ended up just throwing it out. What a waste of money. This place used to be really good and never sent a meal out like this. :(

Mr. Gyros is one of my favorite places to grab a gyro. I always get the classic gyro. The pita is always soft and chewy. The meat is flavorful and tender. The tzatziki adds a nice creaminess to the sandwich. I also like the Greek salad. The produce is always fresh and I absolutely love their Greek vinaigrette. I usually even add some to my gyro. If you go during lunch they run a special-any sandwich plus a side soup or salad for $10.95 (I believe but prices could fluctuate.)I also like the dolmades or stuffed grape leaves. They have great flavor and it's a fun unique thing to order.

I can't believe I'm having to write such a negative review of a place that my family has frequented for 40 years. Today was a big disappointment. The portions were skimpy and lacked the quality that used to be the norm, all at a much higher cost too. A sandwich that I have often ordered was disappointing in flavor and size. My wife ordered something new and it was the least impressive menu item we have ever had. The ordered item was supposed to be 1/2 chicken and 1/2 gyro meat, but only one kind of meat was included. If this was my first time visiting this location, it would also be my last. Actually, this was my last visit as of today.One new detail I noticed was a sign on the soft drink/ice machine stating that water cups were for water only and lemons would be provided on request--I'm assuming that some patrons put lemon in their water. Now it will cost them extra. That seems petty.

DeeDee, I have been a patron of a couple of your locations for many years and always enjoy it. Tonight the Olathe location smelled bad the minute we walked in the door. We ordered to take away because the sewer gas was so bad. I mentioned that it smelled like sewer to the person taking our order and they said it was coming from the unit next door thru the men's room. Seems the management company of the strip mall isn't responsive and this has been a problem for a while. DeeDee , just wanted to make you aware so you can tell them customers are not happy and turned off by the smell. They need to resolve the issue.
