The only quick Greek restaurant serving spanakopita, a personal favorite of mine, near Belton so I had to try it out! I made my own meal from the spanakopita with some roasted red pepper hummus and pita bread. My husband ordered the gyro plate. We also had to get baklava of course! The ambiance is friendly without being over the top. We ordered to-go and had an impromptu Mediterranean picnic. My spanakopita was uncharacteristically oily. It wasn't as crispy as the phyllo dough is supposed to be. The filling was on point though so I saved them to pop in my air fryer at home. Once I did that, they were perfect. The baklava was amazing as well. My husband's meal was exactly what he was craving, perfectly seasoned, and the meat was tender. Our orders of hummus (his was original) tasted fresh and the pita bread was the best.

Food was average at best, if not a bit below average.We got the Gyro Rice Bowl and the Chicken Gyro. The only good parts of the gyro rice bowl was the gyro meat and tzatziki sauce.The chicken gyro was extremely bland. Chicken had very little flavor and the pita bread seems like mass produced store-bought pita bread.Overall, the entire meal was lacking in salt/spice. It basically tastes like something you can make at home. Nick the Greek was our go-to spot, and it completely blows this place out of the water.Apparently this chain has been around the metro for a while, but if they were to open up today with all the greek/mediterranean competition now, I doubt they would survive based on the food we ate here.

Liked it. Had the Gyro plate. Lamb (or it seemed like lamb) was ok and maybe yesterday's microwaved but the pita tasted fresh and was warm, tiki sauce was good. Wouldn't go out of my way to get there for what we had but it was good. It's a terrible location and we almost didn't find it since you have to weave your way back into a corner in between parking lots. Granted you can see it from 135th if heading east. But anyway, traditional Greek (Americanized) food and it was fresh and good for a quick lunch.

Online ordering and pickup was very easy! Staff was very nice and had my food ready in no time at all. I got the Gryo plate to go and it was delicious and everything tasted very fresh! Definitely will be going back to try something else.

It's been a long time since I've ordered up a Gyro from Mr Gyro and I can't figure out why because I finally visited the restaurant this past week and had one right out there in front of me on my plate. I ordered the Chicken Pita and Greek Salad lunch special and it was delicious. The chicken was grilled very well, pita was soft and the greens were crisp and tasty with the Greek salad dressing. I actually felt healthier after having lunch and was ready for the rest of my day. Ha. You order at the counter and if there is a line, it moves through quickly. Next, find your table in the large dining area and get your drink filled from the soda fountain and your number will be called before you know it. There is plenty of parking around the back and on the side, so you'll be within just a few steps walking distance to your tasty Greek meal.

Mr. Gyro in Overland Park offers the best Gyro in Kansas! The Gyro is incredibly tasty, especially with the great Tzatziki sauce and fresh bread. While the service tends to be not very nice and the atmosphere feels a bit dated, the delicious food more than makes up for it. If you're craving a Gyro sandwich, try this place .

I have to start by saying that the customer service here is awesome! Staff is friendly and always greet full, which is something i appreciate as a customer and one of the reasons i come back. The main reason though, is the food hands down. They make this in house dressing that i like to order on the side, its amazing! When the weather is nice they have a nice covered patio section. Overall love it here!

I like coming to Mr. Gyros, and I am not a huge Greek Food guy. But these guys get it right every time I am at this location. I still can't get over how fast they are. You order at the counter and the food comes out quickly. It's always delicious. Not too sound simple but I would recommend the gyro. Start with that and work your way around the menu on your next visit. And if you don't feel like visiting they offer Grub Hub so you can have it delivered to your home. Also, make room for their desserts.

We stopped in to order take out for family of 7. Service was prompt and meals were in plastic bags with tied handles. Unfortunately our order was not completed properly and missing 2 items. We did not discover this until we arrived home and sat down to eat. We didn't have time to go back to the restaurant because it is 15 minutes from our home and we had to leave for a concert. I called the restaurant after the concert to request compensation but they were closed. So I called the next day and the line was busy. On my third attempt I connected with an employee and explained the situation. She told me they don't typically help customers unless it's a same day error. I asked to speak to the manager but they were not available at that time. She told me they would call me back. Crickets. There was no follow up. I enjoy the food at this restaurant but just want customers to be aware they need to double check their orders before they leave or they may be paying for items the won't receive. Very disappointing customer service. We will explore other Greek restaurants next time.
