Every time I come to KC, Mother Earth is an absolute MUST on my list. I love their drinks and food, and that the staff is so helpful in accommodating my lactose intolerance. Did you know they can make the cold foam with oat milk? Amazing! Other notes: They also sell great coffee that I use at home. In the back, there is a community board with Hyde Park Happenings - a great way to find local events and ways to connect. Last, I love that they updated their drink and cutlery station! The functionality has been upgraded and looks great. Enjoying the pistachio cold foam cold brew today with a sausage, egg, and cheese waffle sandwich. Thanks for every time being a treat, Mother Earth!

still overall very good, prices seem like they increased which is never fun for the bank. got a new everything bagel sandwich they had and it was amazing full of flavor! my boyfriend got a sausage muffin and was not impressed with the flavors.

Mother Earth has plenty of seating, natural light, and plants-- all factors that make for a great neighborhood coffee shop! There's enough space that you can camp out and work without feeling guilty for hoarding a table.The matcha is earthy and mild. Many of their drinks are standards that you'll find just about anywhere, but they're done well.I do wish that a place called "Mother Earth" would offer reusable mugs instead of immediately giving you a disposable cup. Many people sit down to meet with friends or work here, so swapping out reusable items when possible would make a huge difference in their footprint.

I can only speak for the cold brew.Terrible cold brew...I took 2-3 sips and threw it away.I guess if you like Starbucks you won't be disappointed. Like I said I can only speak on their cold brew.The coffee tased like burnt toast (not kidding). There was no contrast or flavor profile it just tasted...burnt. I really like the interior of the shop, the layout is pretty nice.I guess something to keep in mind is the Parisi is directly connected to Mother Earth coffee. Maybe the coffees are pretty similar, I haven't had Parisi but that may be something to test out if you've been to either or and maybe compare...it may be the same roasts (comparatively).Will not be returning (for the cold brew). There drip or espresso is something to test out in the future!

Who else loves coffee?! I DO! So today I decided to come check out this coffee shop as it is across from my friends place. Immediately upon walking in the atmosphere is like a typical coffee shop! You have people working, people eating & people just hanging out. I just got a double shot of espresso because I add my protein drink to it, but my friend got a smoothie & breakfast burrito. Service was quick & everything tasted lovely. I will be back to actually taste the coffee & pastry later this week!

I was in dire need of an afternoon treat on an unseasonably warm late fall day when I realized I was close to Mother Earth Coffee and that I'd actually never been here before. I was familiar with the brand because from back in my barista days one of the cafes I worked at used them primarily as a supplier. So, knowing a bit about the brand I was especially interested to check out their brick and mortar. When I walked in it wasn't busy at all, but again it was probably 3:30 in the afternoon - nowhere near peak coffee shop hours. I knew I wanted something cold, I wanted something a bit different, or new to me, and I didn't want anything too heavy. I was hoping for some kind of iced coffee variation that would be a bit sweet without being syrupy or too heavy with milk and cream. I was looking at their menu when I became curious about one of their on tap cold brew concoctions. I can't remember the name, but when I asked about it the barista explained it was half lemonade and cold brew. I asked if it was any good and he was like "uhhh I'm not sure, I don't care for it but some folks love it" then he offered to sample some for me, which I was like sure! I was expecting to hate it, but I honestly loved it. I was so shocked that this was actually delicious, I ordered one, had some laughs with the barista, and was on my way, fully caffeinated and happy.

One of my top coffee spots!! Vanilla iced latte and their soy egg & chorizo breakfast burrito is my go to. Discovered this gem back in 2021, and always try to get it when I'm in the area these days! Their service is very attentive and love the calm ambiance that it gives throughout.

Lovely stop along our roadtrip. Breakfast burritos & iced lattes were amazing. Quick service. Cute lil seating with outlets! Easy to find nearby parking

I love this place. The atmosphere is great for doing some remote work. Its comfy. They have a small but good food menu.
