1st time we ate here was shortly after they opened and the pizza was super greasy. Fast forward many years and we decided to give it another try. Now the pizza was bland, dry and the dough was raw. How does that even happen on a thin crust pizza?

Pizza was greasy and not very good. Lacked sauce and just wasn't very good. I won't be back so they might consider a better pizza.

Following their reopening after the pandemic, Morningstar's has made some disappointing changes. They have discontinued providing their wonderful whole wheat angel hair pasta, which was the best pasta available in Lawrence. Their regular spaghetti is a poor substitute. It is ordinary, old-time overcooked spaghetti. Their reason was low demand for the whole grain angel hair pasta. My assumption is that their customers did not know about it, since it was never included in any of their menu items and was only available as a substitute. Similarly they have discontinued their whole wheat pizza crust. But they do have excellent cauliflower crust, although you would not know that from the menu either. I hope they continue providing it. They list it as gluten free crust without revealing that it is cauliflower crust. While all cauliflower crust is gluten free, it is not necessarily true that gluten free crust is cauliflower crust. For example, Spin Pizza has both gluten free and cauliflower crust as separate and different choices on their menu. But the server at Morningstar's assured me that their gluten free crust is cauliflower crust, and indeed it is excellent.

I lived in NY for my 1st 50 years, and this is the best pizza I've had since I moved out here well over a decade ago. Just like home.I'm looking forward to returning and trying the heros. An eggplant parm hero is calling me......

Nice place. Good service. Thin crust pizza and tasty toppings. Husband really liked it, I wished for more toppings. Had like I've pepperoni on a slice. Not really floppy NY style, meaning it's not foldable - pretty crispy. Good salad but it was iceberg / nice creamy Italian dressing & fresh. We will return!

The pizza is always great and exactly what we are looking for in a "New York Style" pizza. The slices are just floppy enough to allow a fold, but the crust and bottom still has just enough stiffness for a crunch.Non-dairy cheese is available for all our vegan and lactose-intolerant friends! It's local, it's good.

Excellent NY pizza and staff. I judge a pizza place by their pepperoni and they nailed it. Locally owned business as well the owner is making pizza!!

Pizza lacked sauce, I couldn't even taste it. Overall lacked flavor for the price. Topping felt like the were sloppily thrown on the pie. It was also a tad greasy and got a little soggy.
