a bottle of wine and a plate of food
Great service and the "picnic basket" is perfection with the wine!

Outdoor seating with a variety of options. You can sit towards the front or in a private area in the back. Plus in front of the live music or behind it in another private area. We had a bottle of semi dry red for $16 and it was pretty good. It's a nice place. The tasting room was closed Saturday afternoon. A true country area with beautiful views and bugs too. This would be a nice place to come and hang out.

Beautiful views! We tasted 5 wines & sat out on the beautiful, huge, patio space. We were told this was a lookout during the civil war and you can see why, views for miles!

Located not far off 50 Hwy, Montserrat Vineyards is a hidden gem. This is the second time I've stopped in, but this time I actually got to look around. From the front, it looks small, but if you walk around the back there are places for bands to play and plenty of seats for people to come and enjoy music or even just take in the scenery of the grapes or the hills (they say it's the tallest spot in the county). The guy working the counter is fabulous and made us laugh the entire time. The wines...the only bad I can say is I wish they made more. There were 5 different types of wine, all wonderful. I had a really hard time trying to decide which ones (yes plural) to get. Even with just a few wines, they have a wide variety for everyone. I will most definitely be coming back...and a great stop on the way to the lake!

Beautiful location. Easy to judge to try all of the wines. Liked the white and the semi sweet red. They have done a great job with making the Vineyard and deck area great for seating and enjoying a glass of wine. Very relaxing. Definitely a great place to stop.

Very knowledgeable and great customer service, the wine tasting was free for my husband, myself and two daughters. We tasted 5 wines. My daughters liked the Damifino which is a sweet red and the blanc which is a white. There is a 10% discount if you order 6 bottles of wine. The vineyard is in a beautiful location overlooking the countryside and is on the eastern side of the Kansas City wine trail, if you are looking to have a wine day. We went in midNovember so business was slow, but it was a very nice winery.

We were out here for baseball games on a hot day. Found this winery on yelp and decided to check it out. It's close off the highway so an easy stop. The winery is small and not fancy but it's genuine and casual. We tasted five wines and all were good. We've been to many (100+) wineries and thought these were good. We ended up purchasing a bottle of their table red which was very neutral and a bottle of Mont Blanc. Worth the stop!

So impressed. Really awesome to find this was the highest point in that location, which made for an amazing view. The guy who helped us out was hilarious, very kind. Im with Erin S.'s review in that the only downside to this winery, is that there is only 5 choices. All of them were fantastic!

Very rude owner! We were kicked out of a wedding reception at 10 p.m. when it was agreed upon that it would be open until 11p.m. (DJ was paid for until 11) No reason was given! This happened so abruptly and the owner said she was calling the cops, even though there was no obnoxious behavior that warranted the cops! The bride left crying on her special day that was cut short. Please do not waste your money here because it doesn't matter what the owner agrees to, she will apparently do whatever she wants and has no compassion about ruining a couple's magical day!
