Mona’s Red Barn Cafe

Guys, if you have been riding the Katy Trail (and even if you haven't), stop at Mona's for the daily special and dessert. The staff was so friendly, quick, and courteous. we will definitely go back!

This place was in a small town (population ~400) outside Sedalia. We were seated, options looked great, cost was amazing, service was perfect. The foods tasted amazing, were not greasy and had lots of flavor. Like I was in my grandmas kitchen. We will definitely be coming back.

We rode the Katy trail from Sedalia, stopped in for breakfast on Thursday. It was so good, we came back again on Friday and brought friends. The waitress was very friendly, remembered us from the day before. The restaurant is decorated nicely and everything is clean and well kept. Will probably be back before we leave next week.

We stopped at Mona's for lunch, the food is great and the place was friendly. We ate fried chicken and a cheeseburger. Everything was fresh and homemade. We were riding the Katy trail and would highly recommend Mona's for anyone riding the trail.

Reasonably priced, friendly staff, and tasty food. Pork tenderloin was breaded in house and guest really enjoyed his cheeseburger.
