Meh... it was ok. The service was the total 3. Very friendly and helpful. The food was just not to my preference. I had ordered a chicken taco and it came beef which is ok but it was salty and meh.... The enchiladas were not good at all. The cheese had not melted all the way and tasted to American cheese like. I'll be honest I'm also very picky with Mexican and this just doesn't make the mark. The people who own this are super nice and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant. Hopefully they are not offended by my 3. Just not my thing.

this is one of our favorite mexican restaurants right now ! the food is so delicious and the , service is great too ! they have the best salsa and margaritas too ! the owners are our neighbors ,

Super friendly people I tried their tasty pork burrito, medium sized and loaded with meat!

Immediately greeted and seated (you can wait to be seated or just find an empty table). Our server was polite and professional.Lady was constantly going up and down bringing fresh chips and salsa to keep each table replenished. food was excellent. Tacos served on flour instead of a double corn tortilla so that threw me off a bit being from Texas where mexican food is a staple. The refried beans needed a bit better flavor. but everything else was really good. Clean tables and seats. Floor was not sticky or greasy. They have alcohol. Saw many beers and margaritas going out. there was a constant flow of business. Tacos Al Pastor are delicious. My husband loved his Enchiladas Mexicanas. Please take time to try them out. Good food. good people working there.

Excellent food and great service! Really good salsa and chips. Everything was wonderful.

Great Mexican food! Limited seating it looked like from where we sat. Luckily we were able to get in and grab a booth. Service was fairly quick and friendly. Definitely a new favorite

Molcajete is a favorite of ours in Kearney. We dine there often for several reasons: good food, friendly and speedy staff, in a small atmosphere.Small enough that you can get to know the staff on a first name basis. Recently I tried a different meal selection, their Ribeye steak dinner. I was pleasantly surprised how well everything came together. A nice size portion a steak, shrimp, pineapple, rice and beans for $14.95. Don't expect a 1" cut of meat like Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn, but you will get a tender 1/2" slice of steak covered and surrounded by lots of tasty food. I was impressed as $14.95 hardly buys you a tenderloin sandwich in some restaurants nowadays. Stop in and meet Nabor, Ernesto, Jolee, Phillips, and others. They all are eager to serve and please you.

A small Mexican restaurant directly across the street from the grave of Kearney's most famous son - Jesse James. A large Menu with all the standard fare from Street Tacos and Tamales to Fajitas and Salads. I love a good quesadilla and order them frequently. I veered away from my usual shrimp quesadilla when I noticed The Hawaiian, made with chorizo, grilled pineapple and lots of cheese melted between two crispy and buttery grilled tortillas. The best quesadilla I've ever encountered! It was large and served with sour cream and guacamole for $12. The free chips and salsa were adequate, the salsa was thick and tasty, albeit the chips were not fresh out of the warmer or fryer. My buddy the chimichanga addict was very satisfied with his go-to selection. Service was seamless and efficient. A definite return visit when I'm in Kearney again.

Great service and great food. Had the slow roasted carnitas, tender and flavorful. Good sides. Really good salsa.

This place is always good! Best Mexican food in town! Take out never more than 15 minutes! Great staff! Great food!
