Mohawk Park

Mohawk Park has a .4 mile walking trail, 2 soccer fields, a large playground area, and a backstop for softball/baseball. It's a large clearing for the most part. There's not much in the way of trees or foliage.This park sees a lot of dog traffic. All dogs must be on a leash and poop bags are conveniently located throughout the path of the walking trail.It's an unusually large park in the middle of an upper-middle class neighborhood. It's a well kept property that attracts a lot of families. The neighborhood it sits in is well manicured and seems safe.What would make this a 5-star park? Plant some trees, grow some honeysuckle or trumpets on the fence line, and give the dogs a fenced in area to run off leash. This area of town needs an off leash dog park desperately.

Vast open space. Great for many outside activities. Picnic, football, kite flying, walking, soccer, yoga, baseball, etc. Beautiful and green. Clean.
