Minsky's Pizza

Twice now I've come here and the waiter/waitress has taken our order, delivered food, and never come back except to give us the ticket. This time she asked if we wanted refills as I handed her our card. Food prices for kids meals seems u reasonable; no drinks are included. Whenever I've ordered pizza to go it seems undercooked or cooked to a minimum... I always want to heat it up in a toaster oven to crisp up the crust.Ambiance is typical for a place like this with televisions on the wall. Often there are vocal patrons watching a game. It's an okay place to eat... Minsky's in general is good... but this one could use better... I don't know... management? I'll still stop by but it is quickly losing ground as a first choice.

I LOVE this location!! We went to another location and the experience was not great. THIS Minsky's in Leawood is very nice!! The pizza is expensive, but it's very good. Our server was super great! She was very efficient and helpful. We like the vibe here too, because the place is warm and friendly. There are TVs if you wanna watch football or whatever's on. Overall, we like it and this is our spot for pizza now.

Had a family get together here this evening! Great pizza. We had the cordon bleu gourmet pizza. I was hesitant to ordering it but it was really really good! Would get again. Also tried the spicy Thai gourmet pizza and it was incredible! So much flavor.

I love their gluten free crust! The prices are a little high but the flavor of the pizza is sooo worth it! Service eating in can be a little slow but I think that's true of a lot of places.

I love Minsky's salad and buffalo wings (well done)! I never go here for pizza but my family really enjoys pizza night here. They have friendly staff and good customer service. I've never sat down to eat but it is clean the few times I've gone in.

Possibly the consistently best pizza in KC. My favorite. Their pizza is thick, with lots of toppings and cheese. A couple of slices is all that I can typically eat. They make an outstanding cheeseburger pizza. I was afraid to try this but when I did it became my favorite. Service is attentive and the wait for the pizza is 10 minutes or so. It's in a strip mall but it's a pizza joint so not a concern.

Management will "promise" pizza credits for poor customer service that you received by pretending to add your name, number and credit amount in their system. However, when you go to redeem such credits they will not actually have any documentation regarding your credits. If they decide to offer them to you, make sure you have the proper documentation on your end, ESPECIALLY if you're speaking the assistant manager, John. He will not problem solve to help you and you will be out of luck! After 10 years of coming to the leawood location, I will NEVER be returning.

Manager was rude and condescending today, won't be supporting their business any longer. I spent 75+ dollars on pizza today and was pissed the entire time I was eating it. Backstory is my family decided to get pizza after my daughter's soccer game. I thought we were going to pick it up and take it back to the house so I ordered it through DoorDash. When I got there, my wife said she wanted to eat in the restaurant. I had them seat us at a table and we ordered drinks. I see the manager out of the corner of my eye. He says in a rude authoritative way " I see you ordered your food through DoorDash, we are full service establishment you still need to take care of your waiter". I said obviously I would and handed the waiter to a $20 bill before we even got our drinks. The issue is ...who the hell are you to talk to a customer like that?

pizza was way too salty. could hardly taste the basil spices over powering salt Taste. They need to lighten up on the salt.

Their pizza is pretty good. Never, ever expect delivery to be remotely on time. The service has been poor since before the pandemic at our location, and there usually isn't an apology despite having to wait more than 2.5 hours on multiple occasions for our pizza. Willing to list the (accurate) long delivery time on your website? Fine--at least I know so I can make another choice. It's usually inaccurate...
