Minsky's Pizza

My husband and I dined in for his birthday 9/3/24 had eaten there once before for take out but I wanted to say the dine experience was so, worth it from great service to the best wings & pizza I've had in a long time.Thanks Minsky's Mr. & Mrs. White

Stopped in here about an hour before close for a quick late night bite. Everything was perfect. The service was fantastic and very quick even though our server was waiting tables and tending bar. I don't think I saw her standing still once the entire time. This was not my first time eating Minsky's but it was my first time dining inside. I loved the inviting feeling I got from walking in and the place was very clean. Everything was very relaxed but I could definitely see myself coming back for football Sundays which I'm sure get pretty rowdy with all the TVs they have. The food was top tier as usual. I tried the Chicken Cordon Bleu for the first time and was not disappointed. I loved the combination of the Canadian bacon and Alfredo sauce. Plus the cheese was super melty and fresh just like it should be. I alternated dipping it in ranch and Mike's Hot Honey sauce which gave a nice bit of additional flavor to each bite. The ranch is so flavorful and the hot honey definitely has a kick to it! My friend ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and loved it too. I tried a bit myself and it's definitely one of the better Caesar salads I've had. Plus the price is great so I can't complain there. Lastly, we split some French fries which were some of the best I've had in a while. They were super fresh right out the fryer and covered in a perfect layer of seasoning. Pairing it with the ranch dressing made it the perfect side with our late night meal. I highly recommend Minsky's to anyone looking for some great pizza, fries, and just about any else they offer!!

Ordered 1 large Papa Minsky's and 1 Med Prime Cut for takeout. Pizza was hot and ready on time. Prime cut is my go-to pizza at Minsky's but brother wanted the Papa M to be the large. Everything looked great but the Papa Minsky's had a crazy amount of cheese on it, and that isn't something that would a negative to me, but it was too much. Other than that... delicious as always!

I've always loved Minsky's pizza. It's a unique slice to KC. What I want to bring to attention is the lunch menu. The daily specials are some of the best deals in town. They've had great lunch specials forever and I always enjoy it. For this location specifically, I've always had good service here. I'm always in and out for a quick lunch.

I love Minskys. They have a ton of pizza varieties and toppings and even non pizza items so there's something for everyone. This last visit, I went for the KC Joes pizza. I'm normally not a bbq pizza fan but there's is well done. Not too much bbq sauce and plenty of yummy Joes bbq. My normal household go to is the Prime Cut which is basically a meat pizza but they put an entire bacon strip on each slice. It's my favorite meat pizza in the city. My other favorite is the Mediterranean pizza. It's not my households favorite because it has lamb sausage but you can get any pizza in a calzone form so everyone can get what they want. Win win. I like their honey whole wheat crust. It has a great flavor, and good texture and chew. They also have an original, thin, deep dish, gluten free, and even cauliflower. Truly something for everybody. I like to go to the bar to place my order (usually to go) and while I'm there I order a Manhattan. It seems like such an odd thing to order at a pizza joint but they have one of the best that I've had in the city. BUT you have to get it at this location!

Been to this one a few times - now it's been a few years since actually sitting down and eating in this one, but the food is just so good - which there was one in Omaha. We had the prime cut pizza to go and man were we happy about it. My experience this go round was a little off - it was not busy - staff seemed distracted though like they had other things going on. Overall though - I would go back in a heartbeat.

Very poor timing in their service!!! Over 30 mins waiting time for afew pizza slices & a garden salad!!!

Dry and flavorless. I ordered TWO different sauces on my pizza and it still managed to be bone dry. I also ordered one medium and one large pizza, and they were the exact same size when i got them? Given this place too many chances

I like a lot of Minsky's pizza flavors, but I also think they use WAY too much cheese. I mean, if a cold slice isn't appealing the next morning is takeaway pizza even worth it? I've eaten Minsky's dozens of times (mostly office catering) but it's not my go-to pizza in Kansas City. I wound up at the Southwest Boulevard location this week after seeing their "Twos-day Special." It advertised a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and Seasoned Fries for just $6.99. The one catch is you have to buy a drink and the soft drinks are $3. The restaurant was pretty dead on a Tuesday night, but the host and server were both super friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't normally order a sandwich from a pizza place but I am so glad that I did. This Philly Cheesesteak is absolutely delicious. The bread is the perfect soft and chewy texture. The meat is tender and the cheese and mushrooms add a lot of flavor to the sandwich. The seasoned fries are nearly perfect. They're a good size - not too thick or too thin, the seasoning is nice and Minsky's homemade ranch dressing is the perfect dipping sauce. My only improvement would be a slightly longer cook on the fries to made them a bit crispier. Don't hesitate to order off the Pizza menu here, I'll definitely be back for this sandwich or will possibly try a different one in the future.

Restaurant wasn't busy when we started our meal but when it came time to checkout it was slammed. Pizza was good. Definitely enough for 2! The gf was tasty-I cannot attest to preparation & cross contamination I have allergy not celiac.
