Minsky's Pizza

1. The food tasted really good! According to the manager of the place, he said it's Italian Authentic. SUPER GOOD. 9/102. The service was nice. It was made in a good amount of time and the staff were really nice! 9/103. The Ambiance was nice. The TV's were fun to watch and the music was good! 9/1027/30

Pizza is so subjective that it can still be great pizza but it might taste terrible to certain people, so I don't judge the people who marked Minsky's low for the taste. Personally, I grew up eating Minsky's and Shakey's Pizza so it's one of my favorites. If you've never eaten here, there are at least a couple dozen styles of pizza with several different types of crusts. Or you can just be basic and get a pepperoni and be happy with it. They also have sandwiches, pastas, salads, calzones, terrific appetizers and desserts. Even a kid's menu if your tot doesn't want your loaded supreme pizza! This isn't my usual Minsky's and I do tend to find this one often understaffed, but I rarely have a problem. When I do, they are great about making it right. Fun note: Recently, I had dinner there and my drink, appetizer and even my pizza came to my table wrong. Instead of getting outraged, I good-naturedly teased my waiter that Minsky's was having a bad day and we both ended up laughing. I also ended up with everything I ordered perfectly prepared and dinner was on them. Not a bad evening when you think about it.

This is one of my favorite pizza places. Many locations in town with varying service. The food is consistent at every location though. The prime cut is my fave but you could just smash apps for a meal. The meatballs are a meal. The spin dip, the wings, the salad. Man. I'm making myself hungry right now.

Our pizza was great last night. It was our second visit to this location and won't be our last. Our server, Vicki, was friendly and very helpful. We especially like the pub-like atmosphere and found it to be a comfortable spot for casual dining. We will return in the future when we want a value and good quality food. I can recommend it to any pizza lover out there.

Food works when seeking alternatives, however to be honest, not my first choice for pizza. Give them a try, you may have a different opinion!

I understand many places are understaffed amongst other things, but our food took over 30 minutes to get to our table which I found to be strange because we were only a couple of people, among maybe 10 customers in total in which most of them already had their food. When our food arrived it was not even warm and my chicken alfredo had been sitting out for so long it turned into a thick almost stroganoff texture from the soggy noodles and shredded chicken. In addition, the staff at this location wasn't very knowledgeable about any promotions they had going on that day (Singles weekend) and I believe we only made contact with our server when he took our order and brought the ticket. Most likely wont be returning anytime soon.*I have been to this location many times but feel I have to base my review off of my most recent visit, since I had not been in awhile.

We usually go to the Kansas City minskys on corner of n oak and Barry. Going past this one in independence so thought we would give it a try. The food was terrible and so was the service. We like the Detroit style pizza but here it was different. And it was barely warm! The waitress never came back to check on refills or anything else. Won't ever go back.

We ordered take-out and as a gluten free family, we love their menu! Ask about additional options and they are happy to make it happen. Friendly service, too. There's a reason this location is always hopping!

Awesome experience.. ordered pizza for carry out . Received superb customer service. Employee went above and beyond.

Food is good. Prices are higher. Always seems clean. Appears short staffed. Service is fair
