Just shot the USPSA free-state competition match & had a great time. I appreciate we were able to cover 10 stages comfortably within a single day. Staff/ROs were friendly and kept the match moving. My husband and I hope to be back next year!

I came here with a member and had a blast. We went through several rounds of ammo. It was a safe environment. Another couple came and asked to share the lane with us, no problems there. He took me on a quick tour afterwards and there are several lanes for hand guns and long rifles. and a place for clay pigeon throwing too. I look forward to coming back.

So far, my favorite place to shoot in the greater Kansas City area.If you're looking for a quality range where you can truly practice all the skills and drills you're needing, this place is where you want to go.Pros: Well-kept, attention is given to even small details, plenty of space, all kinds of different ranges (pistol, rifle, long distance, etc), usually very low activity so you don't have to fight for space, haven't seen any dangerous range-goers yet (which is not as common when you're in a more compact indoor range), way more lenient range policies allow for more training drills (such as drawing from the holster, no fire rate maximums, you can train downrange if you want to, etc), once you're a member you don't have to pay a range fee to get in as it's all inclusive, occasional shooting events take place here if you're into that so it's pretty funCons: it's outside so you're going to HAVE to wear bug spray (you'll see the biggest ticks on you afterwards), obviously it's at the mercy of the weather, you have to bring your own firearms/targets/ammo/eye and ear protection as you cannot buy or rent them here, it's a bit of a drive as it is in the rural area of De Soto, and membership is not only expensive (a couple hundred bucks) but also limited in both capacity and the frequency at which sign ups can even be accepted (and yes, you have to go through an interview process/have referrals/take classes just to earn it in the end)All in all, a great place to shoot. It's a bit far away for me to make the investment but it is by far my favorite place to shoot anywhere near Kansas City thus far.

One of the best ranges around. One of the few ranges you can shoot over 300 yards. They have 50 yards, 100 yards, 200 yards, 300 yards, 400 yards and 500 yards ranges you can shoot on.This is a members only club you can not just walk up and get in. There is a security gate you must go through. You have to be sponsored to become a member and pay membership fees and dues.If you are a member or know a member that will take you in as a guest it is a superb range. There are safety lights and sirens to let others know you are going out to set targets. This lets others know to halt all firing until you are safely off the range. The have concrete stands were you can set up Lead Sleds or Sand Bags to rest your rifle while you site in scopes. There are also railing tables behind the stands to set your items out of the way.Everyone is nice and helpful and easy to get along with.
