Mildred's

Mildred's has a stronghold on my Saturday mornings when I'm craving a solid breakfast. Their breakfast sandwich and biscuits & gravy are my go-tos because the consistency in their bread and biscuits are simply unmatched! So fluffy and delicious. Every bite in the biscuits & gravy packs a ton of flavor! Not overly greasy at all like I usually see.Mildred's offers plenty of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks as well as baked goods. Do yourself a favor and grab the cinnamon roll on your way to checkout! Heat it up in their microwave for about 12 seconds and your tastebuds will never forget the experience. There are a couple of booths and tables available as well as a community table. I've always gone here on a bustling Saturday morning around 11 AM, but managed to always find seating for 2. There is street parking around the area and another larger location closeby. Service is efficient! A nice little spot downtown, Mildred's is my staple for a quick Saturday brunch!

Mildreds is a fun dine-in or carry-out brunch cafe. We ordered and dined in. They have a selection of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. The coffee was great.

Love stopping in this location for a work week lunch or a treat after visiting the library. Some of my favorite sandwiches have been the ham and Swiss, the porchetta, and their seasonal caprese. I love that you can just get a half. This location can get a little chilly in the winter time but in the warmer months, the outside picnic tables in the alley are great. I loved every coffee drink I've gotten, even it's a simple cappuccino. The the staff is friendly and helpful.

Whatever location you choose to go to, Mildred's is fantastic. I LOVE a place that serves breakfast after 10 am and this is the perfect spot to meet a friend for lunch (them) and breakfast (me). I typically go for the sausage egg and cheese sandwich but have loved everything I've tried here and always look forward to going! Happy to see them expanding and thrilled to support locally owned businesses.

Very fun, fast service! The music and vibes are incredible, too! Food was delicious and presented well and the smoothies are amazing! Seating setup is a little cramped, so don't be expecting a spot for more than 4 people!

The food was really good and their menu had a good variety of options! The service was very fast with friendly staff. Minus a star because when they are busy there aren't a lot of tables and not a lot of room to stand without feeling like you're in the way. Overall a good experience though!!

They have something for everyone! A deep storefront coffee & brunch spot in downtown near the library. It's a bustling place but feels like home. You walk right up and they take your order. Real nice and fast service. They even gave me a sticker. I walked over from my hotel & it was worth it to bare the cold KC wind. I got the breakfast hash with an Irish coffee. First time having an Irish coffee and it was so good! I love the chipotle aioli on the breakfast hash & arugula. Solid breakfast! Check them out! They have two locations downtown so you can't go wrong.

The food was really tasty and fresh. Service was fine, and the place has ample seating. I felt like the pricing was extremely fair for the quality of the food.My issue was with the perceived cleanliness and especially the abhorrent food handling as I sat watching the kitchen during and for a time following my lunch. The woman working the pass, packing to go orders and finishing and serving plates to in house diners, would not stop touching her face and hair, wiping her nose and apparently having an issue with her mouth as she kept playing with it. I watched her pick trash up off of the floor, have a play fight with a friend, and not once in the nearly 40 minutes I was there did she wash her hands. It was really gross. Sincerely, as good as the food was, I wouldn't recommend or go back.

Great place to enjoy the atmosphere and get some work done on the wifi! I had their salad with roasted corn and guac, which was good- a few wilty lettuce leaves. Great staff though. My only suggestion would be to start composting!

All the pastries and goodies looked absolutely fabulous. I was there for a cold brew. I didn't like the coffee, but it was an adorable place with great great ambience. I would go there again. I would just get hot coffee.
