Mike's Wine & Spirits

This is what I'd consider the "main" liquor store for Brookside residents, and there's nothing not to like about it. The parking is easy, the location is central, and the choices are abundant. I'm not a big drinker at all, so it can be overwhelming to even decide on what to get. On that note, I was in here on a Friday once and some Boulevard reps were sampling something which I ended up purchasing -- haven't seen that since, but my feedback would be more of that! Makes it so easy to decide in a sea of craft beers and wines. They have a huge wine selection here, including some of the trendier styles and natural wines. Also for the NA drinkers they have both a wide selection of NA beers and they recently started carrying a small selection of THC drinks. Folks are always friendly enough here, and I find the whole experience to be convenient and quick. Definitely a nicer liquor store compared to many!

Use to love this store. After some reserch i find that the rud person who rang us up in westport is the manager of this location. Sad day.

Certainly love this place! Haven't been in for a long while, stopped by last weekend. Alcohol prices are AWESOME! Lower than the grocery store prices - most excellent!Wine isn't terribly competitive when it comes to price but some days, it is just as well to spend a few extra bucks and support a good store!

Had time to kill before dinner so decided to pop in expecting to maybe just browse. We ended up with a counter full of goodies. First off we live on the Kansas side so being able to buy mixers and liquor in the same exact spot was a nice treat. Mike's has everything you need even snacks. They carry your traditional mixers all the way to organic and even gluten free options. They have a great selection of wine too. That surprised me. And their specials are extremely generous with savings of up to $7 on some bottles. They also carry some hard to find bottles. There is a variety of price points for all occasions. They have monthly specials as well so be sure to check out their website, social media or sign up for their newsletter. We were in on a Friday evening and not only did they offer alcohol samples but they had some dips out to sample from a local vendor. What a great way to help the community. And someone is always around to help you. We will be back whenever we are in the area.

Very knowledgeable staff, if you are interested in trying something new these guys and gals are experts! We wanted to try a new type of beer once a week and they have never steared us wrong!

The staff at Mikes Liquor on Wornall is wonderful. They make you feel comfortable by assisting with purchases and by greeting you when you walk in the door. Mikes offers a great inventory so it's easy to find whatever you are looking for, if they don't have it they will get it for you!We love that they care about the neighborhood as well.
