Mid-Continent Public Library - Green Hills Library Center

I thought the new library was really nice. They had a great cafe, and a full kitchen in back that looked like it was hosting a summer program. The people working were extremely helpful. It was clean, spacious and overall really nice. I was just super bummed to see the Dewey Decimal system not there.

This new library is amazing. Great location with floor to ceiling windows. Rooms are available to check into. The cafe has tons of seating and natural light. The kids area is just amazing with a fenced patio, kitchen set, crayons, and kid seating. We loved this place!

My partner and I are on a road trip ! It's day #2 and we spent a good 4.5H here. Currently, we are Grad students and school is well in session. Decided on a work-life integration, since it's going to be his golden birthday coming up ! The place is very clean and environmentally friendly !! (I recycled all the water bottles, forks, papers, and cups I accumulated). I interacted with 3 staff members. All whome were cheery, helpful, and approachable. There is many choices for work-space. If you like to be outside, there are wall plugs there!Open-space setting, you have it ! Like to have a cubicle feel, it's there! Cafe-vibe with open windows, yep (see my joyful photo) !! It is also my first library that allowed me to use their private study room withiout needing to be a local. Super inviting, modern place. Love it ! Would recommend and go back again !

What an amazing place! The facility is beautiful. There is a large children's play area with a play kitchen, puzzles, nooks to lounge in, and an outdoor space with chalk. They also have a full culinary kitchen that hosts different events/activities (build your own trail mix for kids when we were there). Bonus- The cafe actually has good coffee and pastries too!

Absolutely love this new location! Mid-Continent is always great at getting what you need from other branches or ordering if they don't have it. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Libraries are such important parts of our communities and this one is stellar.
