We've driven past this restaurant many times and finally decided to stop in. What a mistake that was. My wife ordered a burrito and I ordered the carnitas dinner. The menu described the carnitas as gently fried. By the looks of them the carnitas Were so gently fried they were only shown the oil not cooked in it (see picture). They looked more boiled than fried. Maybe there wasn't any oil left for the carnitas after seeing the burrito. It was brought to our table swimming in oil. The plate was a disgusting mess and it did not look edible. We will continue driving past.

I love Mi Ranchito! My partner and I visit here at least once a week, or multiple times a month. We are never disappointed, in fact, we are always extremely satisfied! All of the servers are extremely kind and attentive to their customers. it's the perfect size for a cozy family restaurant or a casual date night stop. It's not too loud, and the crowd that comes in is extremely respectful also!I continuously get the cream cheese, enchiladas. I never switch it up because they are so darn good! I'm pretty sure it is one of their most popular items, and I truly understand why. All in all the food is delicious and so is the atmosphere. We will be back over and over again!

The waitress always kept our chip bowl full, and kept our waters filled. She also highlighted the most popular dishes on the menu. Great service. I got their most popular burrito. My wife got the street tacos. Very tasty. Too full now. Kids menu is great.A soccer game plays on the televisions in the corners of the restaurant while Mexican music plays overhead. The booths are a multicolored kaleidoscope that is soft to sit on.

A Japanese Middle Aged Couple from Chicago has visited here because this is a just nearby our hotel. And this place is surprisingly decent and delicious Mexican eatery for us with a best cost performance. Yeah, we are surely coming back here again. Thanks!

Nope. Not a place for me. I really wanted to like this place, especially because it came with recommendations and suggestions for our order.The good: The espinaca queso is pretty good! The green salsa that comes with the chips was also tasty. The chips are good, too. Not all tortilla chips are created equal but the chips here are above average. The rice is tasty. Our server was nice.The bad: The food, in general, isn't good. We tried the chicken taco salad and the cream cheese chicken enchiladas. The flour tortillas seem like those packaged kind that come from a grocery store bread aisle. They have a gummy texture and no flavor. We left most of our orders on our plates. The black beans that come with the enchiladas are not great either.The ugly: Truth be told, the smell of the restaurant was off-putting at the very start. They must have been having some plumbing problems because it smelled pretty darn bad, like old-gas-station-bathroom bad. Food wise, the jalapeño ranch is the worst thing we've eaten in Kansas City.

Mi Ranchito is the place to go! Came here on a Saturday night and my boyfriend and I were seated and served immediately. Our waiter was super helpful and friendly and assisted us with any questions we had about the menu. I had the Jalisco Chimichanga and it was delicious. The sauce that covered the chimichanga was mouth watering, and the guacamole was great. To top my meal off I ordered a frozen mango margarita, which was a perfect way end to my dining experience. Overall would highly recommend this place, and will be returning very soon!

Awesome hit the spot I base authentic on wither they serve mole, as it's a staple in Mexico and the Teresa enchiladas were spot on.Definitely come back Service was excellent manager stopped to confirm was the mole as authentic and it was a thumbs up as my mouth was full....lol

The best food I had in a long time! I had the 3 enchilada plate which had 1 beef , 1 cheese, and 1 chicken enchiladas, with rice and beans. Plus a bowl of chips and salsa! The service was also great. I had a soda and water he filled both several times. As well as the salsa.

Food was bad my tortillas was like chips. Customer services was bad the waitress were talking about work in front us they were yield it each other, They should talk privately with the coworker not in front of customers. we went there to relax not heard about their tasks. Manager on duty should respect the coworker too.

I would not ever give this place one star, but I have to in order to write this review. Okay now for the review; to start things off we could not get in the door, because the Hostess seemed unable to manage a wait line. Once inside and seated we waited a solid 15 minutes to be acknowledged by our server. Then, it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks to the table. However; our drinks were visibly ready at the bar and our server was playing with her hair chatting with other wait staff. Eventually she dropped off our drinks and just walked away; I guess people are not supposed to order food at this restaurant. What topped of this disaster is the boorish individual next to us. This person seemed to think that the entire restaurant wanted to hear his conversation, as he had his phone on speaker with the volume turned all the way up. When asked to turn the volume down this rude person looked at us as if we were speaking gibberish and continued with the conversation. At this point we were done and when the server finally came back to take our order approximately 20 minutes later, we declined. Mind you, she did not say anything to the person beside us who was still having his ear-splitting conversation. Aside from all this, the salsa tasted like marinara sauce. I thought this was a Mexican restaurant not an Italian. My recommendation; stay as far away fromThis restaurant as possible. And instead got to the one in Olathe. Much better food and service.
