Mi Pueblito Meat Market

Some of the best street tacos I have ever had. I got the carnitas which was just so delicious. I tried several different salsas and sauces that were all delicious. They were also sufficiently spicy. Everyone working was extremely nice and friendly. The store was a little smoky but I was met with the mouthwatering smell as soon as I opened the door. It was Tuesday and the tacos were only 1.50 each! Love the food, love the price, love the people. I cannot wait to come back!

Respectable market kitchen producing a great range of food options. Nice staff. I had tacos- the al pastor was the clear winner, the carne asada was good to okay. Lots more to explore, would definitely try again and branch out.

This place was phenomenal. Had the carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. Everything was fresh and really good. Salsa was good and spicy. Will be back for sure

I love this place. We are always looking for authentic Mexican and Mi Pueblito has a great food counter that offers some tasty choices. We go on Taco Tuesday since most of the street tacos are $1.49 each. They have quite a few proteins to choose from and a few more that aren't on the special price. The tamales are also delicious and very reasonably priced at less than $2 each. They have puerco rojo and pollo verde. I've tried both and love both! There's also a market and in the back is a large meat market. I grabbed some Pastor to cook at home last time I visited. The only negative I have is that as a small business, they run out of certain foods so you need to be ready to change your order if you go later in the day and it's a market so the ambiance of eating there is not anything special but I many folks just get it to go. Otherwise, I really love Mi Pueblito and think it's a gem many people don't take advantage of in JoCo.

The food is okay, nothing special, just cheap.However, this is made possible by cheapskate owners exploiting their employees and cutting corners every chance they get.The manager, Rodolfo, at the Topeka location is misogynistic, homophobic, and inappropriate with employees and customers. Nevertheless, the employees are super friendly and helpful but clearly overworked and underpaid.

A hidden gem at 79th and Quivira! This is a grocery store that specializes in Mexican food. You can purchase ingredients such as corn husks, masa, and Mexican cheeses that cannot be found at other area grocery stores, and if you're not feeling like cooking they have a wide variety of delicious hot food ready to eat! I am so happy I found Mi Pueblito Market. It's clean, well stocked with products, and the employees are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend for authentic Mexican ingredients and pre-made food.

Just a little gem a buddy and I happened to try for.. TACO TUESDAY! They have an amazing market for meat, vegetables, beans, rice, etc. Anything you could think of to make a good meal!Usually when I explore new places to eat; regardless of the food, I try and get a little bit of a mixture. Here the only thing I could see that really drew me in was the pastor and I'm glad that was my only selection because it was GOOOOD! Yummy!If you're near the area working, or even traveling through I would highly recommend stopping by!

Hey guys, if you haven't been here please go. Don Alonso (the owner) is a pretty genuine person, I had the opportunity to meat him a couples years back but overall let's not allow that to allow me to have a opinion about this place. I didn't sit and eat but I did get carne al pastor preparada, ready to just cook! The meat from their butchery is fresh and looks well kept. The location is very clean and the staff is nice. I also had to get vegetables to make salsa and the produce is fresh. My S/O and I really enjoyed the food and salsa I made with the produce I have purchased here. Will 100% be returning

I stopped in while driving buy just to buy some groceries. I noticed a line for the hot prepared food. I discovered the Taco Tuesday special and wasn't let down. The food was fantastic

Well, we decided since it is Tuesday, let's get some tacos. Authentic Mexican food beyond our expectations. We have been all over Mexico from Cabo to Mazatlan to Puerto Vallarta, to Cancou, to Playacar, to Mexico City. Been there, done that. Super delicioso great tacos. Our first time but most certainly not our last. Every person working there including the great creator of these incredible tacos, everyone with a warm greeting and a smile. What a pleasure to be able to get over the top great food with a reasonable price from hard working people who are happy to please the customer. The entire store was immaculately clean with everything from a big carne department to a large assortment from their bakery. We're all in!
