Such a cool spot! I loved my first experience at Meta. Super friendly, plants everywhere, and darn good coffee! They had enough seating for probably 15 people, and it had very cozy vibes. Couldn't recommend this place anymore -- it'll become part of my normal rotation of coffee shops!

The service was fast and the barista was kind. This space is beautiful, the brown sugar latte was really really good, all served in beautiful amber glass. Big fan.

I cannot believe I am the first to review such a great addition to KCK! Meta is truly a hidden gem, you will miss it if you do not know it is there. They are housed inside of the equally fabulous Foxtrot Studio, a purveyor of local made goods. The space is clean, bright and simple with beautiful plants being their main decor as well as the beautiful local handmade items. The menu is simple; 12 ounce hot drinks, 16 ounce cold drinks, oat milk as an alternative milk and two syrups to enhance your drink if you choose to. My iced Americano with a splash of oat milk was smooth, bold and perfection. Their own roasted beans are there to take home as well. I grabbed a bag of Costa Rican beans. If you are hungry they have a small selection of Hana's donuts and cinnamon rolls. Of course we couldn't pass those up!Service is beyond outstanding. Friendly, prompt and knowledgable. Truly about friendship and wanting to know about their customers.

For those of you reading this in 2030, you already know that the Rosedale neighborhood has become a trendy hipster destination and you probably remember that Meta Coffee was one of the pioneers changing the dynamic of the far end of SW Blvd. For those reading in current day 2022 - you heard it here first! What an unexpected top of the line coffee experience Meta is with in house roasted single origin beans and a simple but perfect menu. The elegantly minimal space is shared with Foxtrot Studios - a men's clothing and accessory boutique - a 5 star experience in itself. My traditional macchiato and the breakfast oatmeal cookie were both priced right and equally perfect. Great attitude and conversation from the barista made this place the highlight of my Saturday KCK wandering. An inside couch area, a couple of stools and an outside table offer limited seating, so you might be grabbing it to go.

Very quaint, unsuspecting coffee shop inside Foxtrot Studios. Loved the simple menu and friendly service. Very limited seating (~6-8 total seats inside), but delicious coffee and donuts. I will be back again soon. Hope to see this area of Kansas City be the next to revive.

A hidden gem for sure. I was so glad to stumble across this little spot. I had a deliciously smooth pour over while sitting on a beautiful little couch. The staff were incredibly friendly and willing to answer all of my questions about the shop itself and how it all originated. Half of the shop is filled with goods from local vendors for your shopping enjoyment. Everything from lotions, colognes, leather goods, clothing and bags. I'm so glad that this part of Kansas City is starting to come alive!

Dropped by Meta today for the first time. They are located in a small business. We got a latte and drip coffee. Both drinks were great. The shop owner was very kind and helpful. There are some great things to shop for and lots of plants for a comfy feel.

Very impressed with the Kyoto cold brew!! Super smooth with a dark chocolate hint! The staff were so kind and eager to help me make a decision since I was torn between their latte and cold brew. Definitely a great new local coffee shop in the kc area people should support! I will be back!'

Such a beautiful space inside of Fox Trot Studio. Lovely baristas and great coffee! Plenty of street parking. A few spots for seating inside.

Beautiful setting, great coffee, kind welcoming staff. Highly recommend the cortado and hanging out for a bit to enjoy the design of the building! Perfect to enjoy all the greenery. Love the local creators' work being displayed and for sale throughout the place!
