I am so glad I discovered this upscale grocer. The bakery is why I have made my way to this store and what keeps me returning. I will have to make a greater effort to explore the rest of the store and eatery. The service was prompt and excellent. The environment is clean and bright. And the bakery offers these outstanding cakes. 5" cakes and 8" cakes. The 5" are perfect for a small party and delicious. When I need a cake, this is my go-to place. In addition, McKeever has Tippins Pies. They have petifores and maccrons. We picked up a croissant, a scone, and a cheese danish in addition to the double mudslide cake. This is my go-to upscale grocer. I see that they offer online ordering and pick up. I am going to have to try that.

We have shopped at McKeever's several times. This is the cleanest and most well organized grocery store I have ever been in. They have a great selection of tons of things. Though curiously, they do not have actual Sriracha sauce. They have some imitations, but not the real thing. All of the shelves are faced beautifully, and everything is well cared for. We have enjoyed many of the items we have purchased here and never had a problem. They have a good selection of wine, spirits, and beer, as well as groceries and other things.I would have to deduct a star because sometimes the workers are not very friendly, willing to help or, interested in improvements. One night we went there, and there was no usable toilet in the women's room, so my wife had to use the men's room. They were aware of it, and no one took any action.

I was in the area for work and had my in-laws coming into town later that evening so thought I'd take advantage of Missouri selling alcohol in grocery stores and pop in to pick up some of my mother in law's favorite wine, and some IPAs for my father in law. When you walk in it's a really clean and gorgeous grocery store. If I lived nearby I could certainly see the appeal of visiting here as the shopping experience is really pleasant. While I didn't purchase anything from the produce area the food all looked really fresh and was well presented. I meandered through and picked up a few odds and ends before landing in the liquor section which is what I stopped in for. They had a good selection and reasonable prices for a grocery store, and I found what I came for which was great! The reason this isn't a five star grocery store is because they sold me super expired IPAs. I was feeling really proud of myself for finding a mix pack of Brooklyn IPAs for only $16 and it wasn't until I got home to Overland Park that I realized that they were not only expired, but that they expired in November of 2022. Now, if you know anything about beers you know that yes, there are some that age well and can be consumed years past their "best by" date, but IPAs are not in that variety. I also know that drinking these beers isn't necessarily dangerous, but still I felt like if they were going to sell them to me they should have made it clear how far past the date they were. If I lived closer I would have returned them, but it wasn't worth the drive. I've had a few of them and they aren't bad but you can tell that the flavor is off since they likely were brewed a long time ago. At any rate, selling expired beer is sadly not an uncommon thing to find, so overall this is still a great store but if you're shopping for beers I'd take the time to confirm the dates on the cans before checking out.

Very clean and never busy when we went. The prices and I know prices are about the same of Natural grocers when it comesto the specialty items found several a bit moreLarge selection of anything you might needThe eatery part = a fail old stuff sitting out , not much to choose from and not fun to look at and has been each time we arrive. maybe they will ramp it up or they dont want the loss on food that wont sellPrices at target are cheaper than this place and natural grocers and target is always busy may not have been a good idea to put a grocery store right next to another one that can keep the prices down.

A brand new, clean store. Rows of pristine stocked items. Low traffic, nobody know they are there. I haven't seen an ad in the Wednesday's grocery mailings. NO PHARMACY

The consistency in what is offered is lacking. I've been shopping at this store for 2 years. During that time, I've learned that some of my favorite products are no longer available and realize to never expect what I've come to rely on may be still carried by this store including the following: MoPies, bagged / frozen swai, honey / French dressing, a large variety of Hagen-Dazs ice cream, certain brands of butter. These are just a few examples. My guess is that the store is under poor management.

Bakery. Went in the lees summit store because I had heard wonderful things about the strawberry cake. They were out. I asked when they make them. Was told when they need them. asked when I could come back for one and was told not sure. I needed to purchase a cake for my son's birthday. I purchased an 8' blackout cake. This cake was so stale. I felt bad for my son and really embarrassed that I served it.
