What can I say - it's like walking into a beautifully aesthetic hug. Gifts and cards for yourself, for your loved ones, for people you forgot about but were reminded of because you saw the perfect gift. One of the best sticker selections I've ever seen. Friendly female staff and a sweet dog if you're lucky!

Lovely little stationary shop! It is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. This is where I purchase all of my cards, notebooks, pens and gifts for my friends & myself! The shop dog is cute too

Love this stationery store in Westport! They have everything - I mean everything - stationery related: pens, paper, postcards, writing kits, washi, stickers, pencils, and the cutest shop dog Lucy will greet you.

Perfect spot to grab a card for a loved one or a pen pal! The card selection is awesome, definitely rivals other stationery stores and they have a good variety. I love to poke around the pens and notebooks too! Parking kinda sucks on 43rd but the side streets are usually fine. The owner is super nice and helpful! I just picked up a bunch of cards for cheap at a sidewalk sale so keep an eye out!

Super cute shop with pop culture-forward cards for every occasion. I came in for one birthday card and left with future birthday and Mother's Day cards... and eyeballed a few more I may come back for. The owner is sweet, the store is quiet, and you'll feel inspired!

I've been to this lovely and cozy shop a few times and can't recommend it enough. Especially now with holidays coming: Cute gift wrap, tags and even a few ribbons by the yard. The greeting card designs are hip, clever and charming. Truth be told, I love way too many of the notebooks/planners and pens/pencils. Bonus: The super nice and helpful staff make it even harder to leave. You should go soon!

My partner and I had a fun time perusing the greeting card selection in here and giggling at all the wit... Cards for truly EVERY occasion ("Congrats on your divorce!" "Way to go for setting those boundaries!"). The shop itself is GORGEOUSLY laid out and so inviting. We met the owner, who is joyful and clearly loves what she does. Beyond greeting cards and stationery, they sell journals, paper pads, wall art, beautiful wrapping paper/gift bags, decal stickers and more. We were fond of "Frankie the Stag" up on the wall. Bought a few greeting cards and stickers and will be back as life occasions call for freshly hilarious cards!

I'm a person who really loves stationery, pens, notebooks, and stickers. This darling store has all those things, plus a wide selection of other items that appeal to my sensibilities. The staff is witty and charming in addition to giving great service. I've visited twice and had a delightful shopping experience both times. There's nothing else like it in KC, and I hope they'll be here for a long time.

The perfect greeting card exists and it's at May Day paper and post.  You won't leave empty handed when you discover expertly curated paper and post goods from the best small businesses all over the country (and world!).  Even if you're not a stationary fiend, you'll be inspired to pick up a piece of joy to surprise someone you care about.  If you're faced with sharing a card or gift with someone for all of life's poignant occasions (the obvious and not-so-obvious ones), you'll leave May Day happier than when you walked in the door.  The unmistakable atmosphere and vibe are 10/10.
