The furniture and other home decor is overpriced and staff isn't friendly at all. Plenty of other places to get the same furniture at better prices.

Things were way over priced. That being said there was a variety of things to choose from and everything was clean and bright. O

Mary Margaret's is an adorable consignment store in Lee's Summit. Everything is decorated pink, and girly, and they have scarves and handbags and accessories everywhere. The ultra- soft carpeting in the dressing room makes trying on clothes comfortable and fun. Very organized with perfect prices. Not only are the prices cheap ($5-8 for shirts, $9-11 for jeans, $15-19 for dresses) but they are always have 20% off sales on their merchandise. It's not necessarily ALL brand named like Plato's Closet, but while Plato's closet screams "I'm a young pre-teen who loves nothing but Hollister and skinny jeans", Mary Margaret's gives the impression of "I'm a nice lady who loves a staple jewelry piece and a classy high heel."

Kind of hard to find. The shop is a nice size a lot bigger than other locally owned consignment stores. The owner was very nice and aware of who was coming in and out and spoke to everyone. I went to take clothes in and almost left with new clothes, I had to stay focused! Great place to get dresses and simple summer clothes.

took in several items, one of which was a very nice light fixture...they "claim" it didn't sell and was donated...no way of knowing if it really was donated but they don't give you the option to pick things up that didn't sell which is kind of shitty, anyway - I bet they have a very nicely decorated home from the things that "didn't sell" just sayin'...

Mary Margaret's was on our stop today....let me first tell you that I have shopped in this store many, many times with my husband. This is the first time I have gone with my daughters. We were treated like shoplifters today. The owner of the store hovered over us, checked every single item we had, both when we went in the dressing room and when we came out of the dressing room. Note that she was not doing this with every other customer. I had bought a fanny pack at Blue Heron earlier today and was wearing that in the store so I didn't have to carry a purse and she actually asked me if I was buying that here at her store. I can NOT tell you how uncomfortable this was but we did find some things for all three of us and I paid and we left the store. This upset my daughter so much that she felt she needed to let her know that it wasn't okay to treat us this way. The owner was AWFUL!!!!!!! She told my daughter she did not act that way and when I stepped in and calmly said, "actually, you did", she said "we have people like you shop lift from us all the time", speaking to my daughter. What this woman saw, was a girl that chooses to look different than the "norm" and she decided to label her a "shoplifter". How is this okay?? I admit she and my daughter got into a pretty heated discussion but she actually pushed my daughter out of her store as she was already headed to leave. Then she told both my daughter and I to never come back. And actually screamed at us. (profanity used)WHAT?? I have worked retail so many places in my life. If you have a customer that you have upset, shouldn't you say " I am so sorry if I made you feel that way. We have started making it a policy to watch everyone closely, as we have had a lot of issues with shoplifting. We didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." Now....sad thing is, I had planned on buying quite a few pieces of furniture from Mary Margaret's home store and now I will NEVER step foot in a place that treats people like this. And might I add, that the young men that run the home store side of it have almost the exact same "look" my daughter has.

This place is great for unique home/office furniture pieces. I love going here just to look around and see what new pieces are in stock. Always great inventory. Prices are reasonable and fair.

I'm sure this lady can be very nice but under pressure, she is not. My friend shopped yesterday with her daughter and the daughter was told that "people like you" shoplift here. They were treated rudely the entire time. This ended in a screaming match and the owner manhandling this young woman out of the store. Very disgusting.
