'Decorative' buildings falling apart, leaves & debris that need clearing, broken and dangerous bricks... :(
A really sad excuse for a mini-golf course. It looks like nobody has cared for it in years.

The mini-golf course here is an absolute joke!My party of 3 still had fun playing here, but that's because the weather was great and we love hanging out together. The course itself was no fun- it's so rundown that it's just sad. I honestly can't believe that it's still open. They really, really, really need to update it. It's actually dangerous too- there are multiple bricks on the borders that are loose and we tripped several times. It also has not had the leaves cleared since the trees started turning so it is absolutely covered in leaves and water and gunk. It's a good thing we aren't serious about our play and score since we couldn't possibly be, what with all the leaves and dirt clogging up the greens and holes. Several of the flag markers are torn or broken, the paint is chipping everywhere, there are no little pads or arrows telling you where to place your ball, and the miniature buildings that they presumably added to give the place some character are literally falling down, riddled with chipped paint and wood rot. We used a Groupon here, but I honestly wouldn't go back even if it were free. It needs to be completely overhauled. As does the whole building, really- the bathroom is filthy, with dirty paint and a fairly large sized hole in the wall by one of the toilets. A toilet which, btw, had a ring around the water- so nasty! It obviously hasn't been cleaned in ages. The customer service was also pretty pathetic. There were 3 people working, and we were the only customers, but when we walked by them to leave, not one of them said 'thank you' or 'goodbye' or anything. UGH.

The new "owners" of this place had the rudest demeanor we have EVER had to deal with! Their business practices are fraudulent, to say the least. A month or so back they came to one of my Family member's work selling "package deal" coupons. To be clear, she paid over $100 for these "coupons", which the business manager stated they would not accept upon arrival. We had people drive a couple of hours from out of town just to go, and had a group of 8 people! They were extremely rude and he actually said "I'll take them but it will actually cost you MORE than if you don't use them. " He tried to justify it by writing out the numbers. We actually called about the coupons TWICE (once only a week before arrival) to ensure they were good. We were ensured they covered everything except the paintballs themselves. It even says on the coupon "a purchase of 500 paintballs minimum per player were required." We were ok with that but they wanted to charge us $50 per player! The "owner" (honestly the way they were acting i'm not sure it was the owner, and if it was he has ALOT to learn about owning a business) actually stated it would be $2 more if we chose to use the coupons ($52). He literally said, well i'll accept them but it will actually cose you MORE.This was a complete slap in the face. If there were a zero star option we'd be choosing that. We WILL be filing a complaint with the Better business Bureau in reference to this. We promptly took our business to Jaegers instead and we were SO GLAD we did. At this point you couldn't PAY US to go play there and deal with the extremely rude staff. We called Jaegers and explained the situation and they actually cut us a deal. We got ALL 8 of us in for $25 a piece! They gave us cups when we ordered pizza and I even bought two cases of paintballs there. Including $25 a person, plus the TWO cases (4000 paintballs) of extra paintballs we bought at Jaegers we saved over $150 on choosing to take our business elsewhere. We were allowed to play on their brand new woodsball course as well as in the caves and were treated how customers should be: WITH RESPECT.For the Love of God don't take your business here! Go to Jaegers where they know the value of their customers. There will be much more people to play there with you anyways, and the most friendly staff we've ever dealth with.

We came out to hit some balls on the driving range. A 2 decker spot is awesome...with heat! I'm always cold, so on a chillier day, I was able to hit and stay warm, much appreciated! The top has a great view and it's fun to hear them fly from up top. The lower section has automatic tees...how cool. Prices are decent and it's a great time. The staff has always been nice, we'll be back for sure!

Do not confuse Robin Nigro Golf Academy (http://robinnigrogolf.com) with Martin City Sports Complex (http://martincitysports.com) even though they have the same address, same contact info, and by all accounts, lead to the same building and services.I was recently fit for clubs, Driver through Irons, and charged $200. The pricing sheet says "Robin Nigro Golf Academy" at the top. I was browsing robinnigrogolf.com and noticed that a fitting for "Driver through Irons" is $125, not $200. I called them up and spoke with Ellen who informed me that the price is $125 for "Driver OR Irons" on the Martin City website. "Driver through Putter" is $200. I was not fit for a Driver through Putter. She also informed me that "Robin Nigro Golf Academy doesn't exist anymore".Ok, so why is the website still active? Why does the fitting sheet say "Robin Nigro Golf Academy" at the top? Why do all of the employees' email addresses have a robinnigrogolf.com domain?I'm confused.I was transferred to Bert who is head of sales. As I explained the situation about the conflicting prices, Bert assured me that he would try to accommodate me. He then proceeded to inquire whether or not I planned to purchase clubs at Robin Nigro or Martin City...I'm still confused as to which one it really is. He offered to waive the entire (incorrect) fitting fee if I purchased all of the clubs instead of waiving the normal 50% as advertised. After I inquired as to whether I needed to purchase all $1600+ (Driver, Hybrids, Irons) to waive the (incorrect) fitting fee, Bert made the snarky comment "You're not going to buy clubs from me, are you?".Well Bert, you're right. I'm certainly not going to buy clubs from you now. I paid for a club fitting service and as a consumer all I wanted is to get the advertised price. It is not my fault there are two websites with conflicting information. It's not my responsibility to determine which one is correct. A $75 refund to correct poor advertisement and business practices would've gone a long way to retaining a customer in the future. I'm headed to the driving range this afternoon, in fact, and I can assure it it won't be Robin Nigro or Martin City...which one is it again?

Terrible Customer ServiceIf I could give 0 stars I would. My wife went on a bachelorette party to go paintball and experienced terrible us customer service. The maid-of-honor had purchased some coupons from sales people that had come by her work. A week before they all went paintballing the maid-of-honor called ahead to make sure to the coupons would work and was told there should be no problem. When they arrived the managers refused to honor the coupons... Even if management changed between the time the coupons were sold and the time the girls attempted to redeem the coupons you would think the management would honor them to leave happy customers... Due to this ordeal I personally will not paintball there ever.. I'll go out to the caves or Lawrence.By the way, the coupons don't expire until April of 2015... What a load of crap. The caves are probably more fun anyways. I also want to try the course out by Lawrence. No desire to paintball in Martin City any time as long as the current management is still in charge..- DC

Every year me and my swim team go to play paintball, and as it so happens we decided to go to Martin City. This was a big mistake and waste of time. We got there at 11:00 and it took an hour and a half before we even got outside because of our safety class which was given to us by our ref. After we did it took everyone about 5 mins to get ready to play. Our ref then took us out to our first course, but stopped us and talked for about 15 mins about the boundaries, he also added many stories that were very off topic and not needed. He talked about animals we can and can't shoot, and that if we get bit by a snake he would cut the wound with his knife and squeeze it. He let us walk to our sides, but the game is delayed because three of our teams guns wouldn't shoot. At this point everyone has been standing outside in 85 degree weather wearing sweatpants and longs sleeve tees for about 45 minutes. The game finally started and it was fun for everyone except one of my friends whose gun still wouldn't work , he also lost half of his paint in the process. We went back to refill and we spender yet another 30 minutes while our ref ate some hot dogs. We finally got going again and everyone was already tired of the waiting, and we hoped that we could just play now. NO! We got to our next course and we spent a whole hour walking around and for example, being told not to cross the bridge which came with a lengthy story. It seemed like our ref had a story about every barricade or fence on the course. It was terrible, all i could think was that I had spent 50$ for this. He even stopped to show us that paintballs couldn't go through the net on a bunker. Our ref also liked to make kids walk to what he was talking to, this ate up more of our time. We ended up playing and then went back. At this point we had been there for a 3 hours and played two 10 minute matches. Finally we just gave up and decided to do the gauntlet on the freshman and leave. We got there after our ref went over more fucking rules. We had to stand in a line and wait for the runners to go, and as we are waiting we hear over the refs walkie-talkie someone say that 5 people have called wondering when the swim team will be done. So he realizes that he's been talking for too long and starts them. We all head back many mad, or disappointed that we didn't really play and burned 30, 50, or 70 dollars. Our ref was terrible-he talked more than he let us play-he waisted our time eating and talking to friends -he also threatened to shoot us if we don't listen to himThis was the worst experience I have ever had and I would give it 0 stars if I could. Basically my ref made my team stand in the hot sun for hours he made sure we knew he had power over us, and we literally paid money for it.

My son went here for his 14 YO birthday party and said it was the best paint ball ever. It is outside in the woods. They take you to the woods in an old Army truck. The guy who was their referee had lots of fun things for them to do. They give the boys 500 paintballs and if you run out of those (???) the price isn't bad for more. It is nice and clean and was most enjoyable for me to dop them off and know they were having fun for 2 hours outside.
