Good knowledge by staff and reasonable pricing. Not best price in area but not overpriced

The beautiful sales area has beer, wine, and spirits with an emphasis on wines. I liked the friendly service and the availability of free wine tastings. Ownership is the same as the nearby Cosentino's Market, and the prices I checked were reasonable. Cosentino's has been serving the KC area since 1948, thus the name. Very nice.

The best thing this store has going for it compared to the other local liquor stores on 151st is the new factor. It might be clean and fairly bright with immaculately stocked shelves but it severely lacks in wine selection. There are a number of liquor choices (maybe too many bourbon options by percentage) and the back two walls to the left and rear of the store are all cold beers with a great selection of individual choices. This place is next to Costentino's, a fairly nice and somewhat higher end grocery store with pricey choices. However, when it comes to wine whoever is stocking the store next door should be fired. The average price for Pinot Noir is $15 (if lucky) and even their 'higher end' options only start at $30. There are some very questionable labels and overall the wine varieties are pretty limited. The section for cheap wine is large, and I think they missed the price point for this neighborhood. If you want some decent wine in the area, skip this place and head down the street to Baston Stanley on 151st and Antioch. They will even offer you a deal after purchasing a number of bottles and have deals during the week. But best of all, they actually have a great selection that far beats the exterior and interior look of this store.

This is a smaller liquor store but you can't beat the friendly and helpful staff. They also have Wine and beer tastings each weekend. Just like Cosentino's, it's above and beyond!

Very knowledgeable staff. Always a good selection of bourbon and scotch. All the the local and craft beers you'd expect. Everyday drinking wines are plentiful as well as the "front" room devoted to higher end wines. Bob, the manager, really knows his stuff.Frequent wine and liquor tastings are available. You can find larger liquor stores but I don't know if you can find better ones.

I dropped in around 12:30 on St. Patricks Day 2023, was greeted by Joey who walked me through the nice Bourbon selection. Also I like Yuengling beer which is hard to find around here and he showed me a fully stocked Yuengling area at the cooler. Always have a great experience when i go to this store. Sales staff is the best Ive seen.Chris

Expectations going in where that of a normal liquor store, just popped in because it is new and deserved its chance like all the others. Boy was I surprised. I made a bee-line for scotch/bourbon and found not only as good of prices as any of my regular spots, but a very extensive, well-rounded selection that even included some relatively hard to find bottles. One thing I would like to highlight, as I was perusing, the gentlemen who was working that evening, Bruce, came up to me and started walking me through all of their various tastings and events, and our conversation eventually led to him grabbing me a few bottles leftover from the previous weeks tasting to sample. Mind you, this was also 20 minutes before closing. Very rarely have I had such a great experience in a liquor store. In one trip they have a repeat customer!

Tops for bourbon selection and knowledgeable staff. Ask for help, even if you don't need it. You won't regret it. If you think the wine selections are lacking on the higher end it's because you haven't looked in the huge walk-in wine cooler... Seems like they have a wine/spirits tasting every week.

As a note to Lisa P., I too thought the wines store had a weird selection of low / medium priced wines. However, after asking the Manager he showed me the wine cooler - in full view if you look at the area behind the counter. It is stocked with some really nice, high quality wines, ranging from about $45 to $200+ in price. Not only that but if you wanted a really nice bottle for dinner, it's already cooled - that whole area is walk in and cooled. I don't drink much Pinot, but their High End Cab selection, while not large is very good. Jordan, Silver Oak, Beringer, Heitz, - as well as the Orin Swift family. He indicated that you could order wines from them also, if there was something in particular you wanted in stock. Give it a second chance. Yes there are other warehouse options (Lucas, MDL, etc.) you could go to, but if you live nearby, as I do, I'll give them the opportunity to earn my business. I've already made a request for a wine that's hard to find - we'll see how they do.
