We normally have had excellent service. Although the last couple of times, we have had a young incompetent and rude server. Who never apologized for the food being backed up. She just gave my husband a snippy answer back.And then never came back over to check on us or our drinks. Basically ignoring us. That the older ladies stepped in to help us out.The older ladies are awesome.Not sure where the young one came from, she needs some serious training with her edicate, when it comes to working in the Hospitality industry. Yes it is a small restaurant, although it is a start. And she could use more training.The food is always good. We love it, although next time we should request the older gals to help us

Decent Mom n Pop environment. Nearly entirely food service products. If you want consistency then you have found your Mecca.The pies however! All home made and sooooo tasty.

Great food, great experience. I always enjoy going here with my family, we feel like family! Love Monday night Hoyt beef sandwiches. Chicken fried steak is always delicious. Breakfast is always phenomenal...and we can't the pie! The woman owner made a special birthday cake for the kids. It's really a great place. A must go!

Ordered smoked pork chops which definitely had a great smoke flavor. Tender easy to cut. Service was quick as we were just barely finishing our salad when the dinner arrived. Limited choice on sides if you don't want potatoes.

The service and food was good but I special. We were all disappointed that the mashed potatoes were only for evening.

Family style food. Friendly employees. They treat their customers great.

they dont wear gloves, the cook stands in the back shirtless, he also coughs all over the food, the salads are made with no gloves, there is mold in the back, ive seen roaches in the back too, the cook lives above the restaurant, naomi brown, the owner, has thrown knives at employees and other things too like the steaks they serve u, no hairnets are worn, ive seen ants in the salt and pepper shakers, naomis granddaughter who is at least 35 years old goes in and makes food for free without wearing a hairnet or gloves, naomi doesnt treat her employees good at all (ik from experience), it is friendly on the outside but working there was the worst experience of me and my friends entire life.

Finally had a chance to have a sit down home style meal. Meatloaf and pie was great! COVID rules of course but still able to dine in.
