Brittany served us today and what a great waiter. She kept our table clean and our chips and salsa filled. Brittany is new to the area and you wouldn't know it unless you started talking with her. The bean dip is amazing and the queso is good. I got the fajitas with chicken and shrimp, flavorful but a little too greasy. My husband got the gringo, which he likes every-time, he also got an authentic taco which is now his new favorite. My mother in law got the chili and a tacos, which she liked. The restaurant was clean and quiet - yet we are only 3 hours from kick off, so it won't be quiet for long.

I was craving Mexican food and was in the Martin City area. I'd never been here before, and the mixed reviews made me hesitant. I only knew them from the salsa I've bought from local stores, and liked that. I was really glad I decided to come in. The host was an older woman who was so nice. I told her my name and she remembered it for the rest of the night. On my way out, she even thanked me by name for coming in and said she hoped to see me soon. It was a nice personal touch. The restaurant was busy, and our table and the floor surrounding it weren't the cleanest. It wasn't disgusting, but someone should have made sure to wipe the table and chairs a bit better before we sat down. My girlfriend didn't see beans on her chair before she sat down, and they ended up on her jeans. Not the end of the world.The service was excellent. Our waitress was super friendly and nice, and really took great care of us. I got the pork tamales, which were delicious. Not as good as some of the homemade ones I've had, but certainly better than a lot of Mexican restaurants I've visited. Between the tamales, taco, rice, and beans, I had a ton of leftovers for lunch the next day. I think Margarita's is definitely worth a visit!

Went here for lunch on a Taco Tuesday. Service was good and there were a fair amount of people (not too noisy though). I got the spinach quesadilla and it was good, but a little too cheesy for me. Overall would recommend coming here they have good deals!

I needed to meet a friend for lunch, and he was short on time. While Margarita's isn't in my regular traffic patterns, it was right around the corner from his office and he suggested it. We were seated immediately and the service was fast and pleasant. The food was good... neither deficient nor excellent. I had a quesadilla and enjoyed it, with some left for a snack later. For what it is, it was fine. Would I go there again? If it was a convenient spot for a lunch meeting, yes. Would I go out of my way to visit again? Highly unlikely.

Wow!! We've been to the other location in KC and liked it but this location was excellent today. We tried to come here a few weeks ago with friends but they were closed for remodeling. So thought we'd try again today for a late Saturday lunch. Obviously they had just finished a lunch rush. The interior is nice with plenty of large booths. Less typical Mexican decor and more casual dining feel. Got chips and salsa and not my favorite. A little thin and too hot. Got some queso and chips appetizer. Yes!! Excellent cheese texture and taste and the large half tortilla chips were fabulous!! I got the puffy tacos with pork and a side of guac. Delicious guac. My wife got a chim... Huge!! Delicious refried beans... Had some substance to them. My tacos were large and generously filled with wonderful roast pork that was moist and tender. I used the salsa as a taco sauce and it paired perfectly. Things were going nicely so we also got the sopillas with cinnamon sugar, honey, and cream. Yes!! The cream tasted homemade but it is a spray can. The texture was thin but I have to tell you these are some of the best we've found in the KC metro. I'd probably come back just to stuff myself with these. How is it we've never heard rave recommendations to come here?? I really want to come back to try the pork chili. If they serve it with some more of those half fried corn tortillas or some fried flour tortillas... I might go crazy. Right now this place ranks in my top 3 Mexican restaurants in the Metro.

Came here on a Tuesday night. They were slammed. Got right in to sit at the bar. The bartender was pretty busy so we had to wait like 15 minutes to get a water, drink, and menu. The quesadillas were good! The margaritas were good. Chips and salsa are good. Overall a good experience.
