Mamma Leone's Pizza

Place was recommended to us from a Lowe's employee from Jersey. Drove 30 + minutes. The sauce and crust is delicious their Stromboli is outstanding. Service and friendly conversations were truly appreciated. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal.

I tried out Mamma Leone's after receiving several recommendations from viewers that know I like a good pizza. I met the owner and he was a super nice guy and he let me know that his family also owned Original Pizza. I tried out the lunch special that offers 2 slices and a soda for $8.99. I was very happy with the price and I must say it was a pretty decent pepperoni pizza. I wasn't however a big fan of the meat lovers and wouldn't find myself ever ordering it again. If I happened to be nearby and was craving some pizza, I would totally stop in again. But I can't say that I'd go out of my way to specifically come back. Great lunch special. I had the Calzone and it was perfect. My buddy loved his chicken Parmesan sandwich. Friendly staff also made for a good experience. No nonsense atmosphere but food more than made up for it.

This is an update ~ Mamma Leone's has stepped it up! Really good pizza & a big extra effort to make a request right. We ordered half combo / half cheese but it was all combo in error. I didn't notice when I peeked in but THE MAN suddenly did and HE RAN OUT IN POURING rain offering us a small cheese pizza to make up for it! The pizza & cheese garlic bread so fresh & tasty.

The service was kind snd efficient. Very focused and got our order ready asap. Pizza was warmed back up in the pizza oven as we ordered by the slice as walk in's. Clean establishment but an old building which is not super important for decoration in a pizza place. Did have an authentic feel. We ordered the sausage pizza and a pepperoni slice. Definitely on the go back list

Wow, the pizza is exceptional here. We dined in and have called in an order since then. The dining room has a lot to be desired, but we forgot about that after tasting the pizza.

Huge slices! Great spot to pop in a get a few slices to eat there or take home. Price can't be beat and food is always fresh. This spot is one to try

The PERFECT drive-thru pizza joint! And, their combo pizza meals are a really great deal. We ordered a little bit of everything but ended up LOVING the basic pepperoni pizza the most! Would definitely recommend!

So dissatisfied! We tried to go for a family birthday celebration and picked it because our late grandmother was named Leone. We walked in at 6:30 and were glared at by the staff. We tried to engage with them and were told the restaurant closed at 8 but the dining room closed at 7pm. We were the only people in the restaurant! When we asked if we could order pizza quickly or get it to go, the manager said "it depends on what you order". What pizza takes an hour and a half to cook?!? Our party of 9 left and took our business somewhere else.
