Mamas Kitchen Hometown Fixins

This place is exactly as you expect in a small town. The food is homemade and you can taste the love. Just by the chatter of the locals, I quickly identified the owner and she is a hard working woman.The meatloaf special was generously sized accompanied with corn, mashed potatoes and your choice of gravy and a roll.The patty melt was large and served with a heaping order of fries. I opted for a side of cottage cheese and it was a rather large bowl, not a small one like you're normally served.The best part???? Save room for the pie. I'm not normally a pie fan but the brownie pie - errrrr muhhhh gawsh! It was soooooo good. I wish I would have bought the whole pie and taken it home to share. (Well, maybe not share, but it's the thought that counts).

Stopped by on our way out of town and it was a great atmosphere. Great people, Veteran friendly and Proud! Which made my husbands (a Marine) day. The food was delicious as well we ordered breakfast burritos and the tortilla was cooked and everything was nice and flavorful. Great place and will be stopping by again when we travel this way.

Awesome lunch last week. Had the fried chicken. My buddy had the JR burger which was a beast.

Great food, great service! New to Bates County. I heard about this place. The food and service didn't disappoint. The prices are reasonable too. Especially love the KC Strip Salad

The food was great! Truly fresh home cooking. Only criticism would be they probably need a couple more servers, but who doesn't these days.

I am not sure this review should be considered because I feel like it's probably just me more than others who feel so negative about this restaurant , but I have never like the food what so ever and I am shocked it's still standing to be honest. But I truly feel you should read other reviews before mine because I just don't like the food at all or slow service, but so many others must enjoy the place because they keep good business going. So just take my review with a grain of salt because it could very well be my issue and not the other customers that visit there frequently.

Food was great! They were busy but the two waitresses were very efficient and friendly! Would definitely add them to our stops when we are back in the area!

BEST burger I have EVER eaten! Add a side of onion rings! You will be impressed! We just happened to stop in when we were on our way home from Garth Brooks Concert in KC! We are so glad we did! It was amazing and we will be back!

Delicious food right off the highway! Our group of4 each had a great meal! The chicken strips and mashed potatoes and gravy are the type I love. My family ordered pork tenderloins and a cheesesteak sandwich. It all looked and tasted so good. They have a pie case, cinnamon rolls and cakes. Friendly service too!
