This is a real junk store. Like another reviewer from about 6 years ago said, there is some good stuff, but you have to WORK to find it. They had an old holiday Barbie priced at ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY dollars. Ridiculous! It was not worth more than $20 on the current resale market. I'm not even a reseller, just a collector! The store was not very clean and was overcrowded with crap. If you want to move items, they have to be priced well! I'll probably be back because of the few things you can find, but be prepared to search when you come!$10 for a board game is ridiculous, especially one that's taped shut so I can't check if it has all the pieces!

This is by far one of my favorite places to thrift in the Olathe area! On top of their cheap prices, friendly staff, and many options, this place is often not crowded and very spacious. A lot of their clothing is outdated and not trendy whatsoever but I'm assuming that comes from the area the store is located. Not the fault of the store. I went in the other day to find some rings. I rang the call button at the jewelry counter, and someone came to help me within seconds. She was very friendly and made conversation with me while I was picking out the rings I wanted. She even mentioned that she saw some more rings in the back recently and told me to come back next week to check out the new collection. If you go on a day when they are having a sale, you are sure to find an amazing deal! Even when they are not having sales, I can usually find well-priced items that make the trip worth it. A few things are overpriced but most of the items are reasonable! I love this place and will continue to go often!

Wow! I was so happy to find this place. Clean, organized...it's obvious they care about their business and their items. A lot of great finds. Prices were fair too, I'm excited to come again.

If you're into paying too much for other people's castoffs that should have been thrown away, this is the place for you. Books had decent pricing, but other than that it wasn't worth the trip.

The owner of the thrift store was unhappy about the reviews I have left of their store, which I do not honestly blame them. It isn't a positive review and I do not have a lot of positive things to say other than ; because they don't know how to price their items appropriately, sometimes you get some expensive hidden jewels for next to nothing. The real reason I am popping in for this quick update is 2 reasons.1) i had a long Facebook messenger conversation about my review and my findings in the store. Like I said, he was not happy with my review and he did have a good point, which I have edited out. However, he did offer me store credit in exchange for coming in and talking to him in person and changing my review. I just got a notice from Yelp that says this type of thing is not allowed. Stores can not pay you to review their business. I feel like offering store credit for a review edit falls in the same category, but maybe I am wrong.2) like I stated, the manager asked me to stop by and speak to him, to point out things I find out of line and such. I did go to the store at the beginning of January to check how things may or may not have changed, but I did not make contact with the owner, I wanted to see if my review or or conversation had any resonation with him. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised that they seem to be getting on the clean neat thrift store bus. However, my hopes were quickly dashed when I walked to the shoes. Shoes was something me and the manager spoke about at length. Their shoe selection is poorly priced and always has super poor quality in the shoes. I walked over to a shelf to check out a sample, and I saw maybe 2 pairs that we're ok. The others were dirty, covered in mud at the sole, had rips in the fabric near the heel where you pull the shoe on, and they were priced around 9 dollars for a pair. My phone was dead, but rest assured, I am about to move back to the area and I WILL get pictures to add to my review of their quality.I walked further back and saw about 5 used Christmas trees in their boxes. Not a big deal at first, but when you see that they are USED and prices at $125 dollars each, I seriously almost died laughing. It is JANUARY. There are still BRAND NEW Christmas trees on clearance at some stores...and you guys are pricing these USED TREES at around new....are you kidding me? Are you serious? People throw those in the garbage without a second thought and you are trying to charge next to new....laughable.The only positive outcome to this trip is that he did listen when I told him that books were ridiculously priced. Normally 1 dollar for a kids book or adult book, and 3 dollars for a hard back. They were having a "book sale" and kids books were a quarter and hardbacks were a dollar. Those are more appropriate prices year round, but like I said, it was a special sale they were having so I am not going to hold my breath. The quality of books was the same as before, lots of torn books and lots of books written in.I did call out the store manager for trying to buy my review, but he said it was a standard that they followed for feedback. I will leave the conclusion there up to you, I just know how I felt about it. (I do still have the messages to prove it as well.)So here is my updated review. Pictures coming soon!

This place is a favorite of mine. The bagged toys are so much fun to take home and go through with the kids. The clothes are reasonably priced. The employees are mostly very nice. It's not the cleanest store I visit, but it's a good store. I always find treasures.

Definitely my favorite thrift store in Johnson County. A little pricey but still cheaper than Saver's. I have never walked out empty handed and I'm pretty picky when thrifting so that's saving something. For those looking for unique/vintage fashionable clothing, you're sure to find something here. I found some great vintage Tommy Hilfiger carpenter jeans and rethrifted them into cute shorts. I've also found several cool T-shirts, blouses, and some bomber jackets here. There's usually some adidas things there too. It's super organized and they play great music in store. Anytime somebody mentions thrift shopping I tell them about Maj-R Thrift so that they can enjoy the shop too!

One of the best locations I've been to. The tag sales are great with 1 color being 50% off and another color being 75% off. This location has a good selection of name/ designer brands. I found a Givenchy cardigan for $3.99 that was in new condition. It does take some time to sort through the clothing as the pieces can be packed tightly together. Inventory is added frequently throughout the day.

Premium place, with added bonus of getting your hands a little dirty. ; ) Mid-century finds, for reasonable prices (Bassett side table, $8). Benefits boys' home, so no discount...unless it's been there a while. Many new items, nice people. Out of the way, but worth it.

Large thrift store with lots of selections for clothing. Took me a bit to figure out the sizing; however, once I did I was on a roll. Bought 4 pairs of pants for under $20. Heads-up...the jeans (not plus size) are on a different row from the other women's slacks.
