Caveat: My review is more a reflection of the town of Parksville and NOT the Main Street Association - though I in NO known way mean to insult and/or deprecate them and their ifne work.***Gliding by highways and byways that exit a large city and head outwards to its environs, its suburbs, its collectivity of small towns and hamlets that cling to the mother metropolis like small forgotten runts o the litter are the small quaint homey towns of yester year - Norman Rockwell picture paintings where a good solid meal is still available along a little cobblestoned street lined with buildings that have painted, almost faded, and yes, almost tawdry facades that bring back the halcyon days of Laura Ingalls Wilder and her ilk - the prairie, the manifest destiny... the hope.... The future and yes, the past and the present, tied in a faded velvet ribbon that still smells of fruitcake and holidays and Aunt Edna's colognes... This place is Parkville.... And it is cute... it is stately..... it's worth the bike ride, the visit and the walk.... Go... enjoy.... And relax.
