I love that Made in KC is growing and opening up little gift shops all across the metro. This addition in Martini Corner is really enjoyable and a great space to pick up a gift for a friend or a souvenir if you're visiting from out of town. It's a bit unique because it is connected to The Black Pantry, which is a really cool specialty shop that focuses on supporting Black makers and entrepreneurs. The Yelp page here is a tad misleading as the cafe is no longer operated by Made in KC and is now a separate space entirely. The gift shop is great though, and worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood!

Made in KC is a fun little store to support local small businesses. The mid-town area one has less shopping space then the plaza but their Cafe is much bigger.

Loved checking out Made in KC. Great offerings of coffee and bakery treats. I loved the back shop dedicated to allKc local things. They have cute glasses and Kc art everywhere. Easy parking and cute aesthetics. Open area for working or studying.

Always a nice trip to Martini Corner with this addition! I've been here a few times now, and I've always found the people to be so lovely who are working, and they seem to genuinely love what they make!Coffee - - I've only ever had lattes, mochas, and cappuccinos here, so I can't speak to their drip coffee. But I've always enjoyed my beverages! Gingerbread latte was my most recent purchase, and they even made it a bit less sweet for me (per my request!).Pastries have always been fire! I got a pop tart once (oh yes, I did), and my most recent gingerbread molasses was fantastic and a great dunker cookie!Side note: If you need a wonderful place to work, they have a lot of tables, wifi, and couches that you can choose your optimal work space! Thanks Made in KC - - always a great time!

It's been a while since I've hung out in Midtown! Made in KC Cafe is a great location for some time alone, with friends or a business meeting. The Chai Tea is a little spicy and delicious! The staff was friendly and welcoming. I can't wait for my next visit!

We went to the Made in KC Cafe while waiting to go upstairs. The coffee smell is great when you walk in. The staff is super nice. I had a Mocha Latte while hubs and the adult child had Cappuccinos with almond milk. My latte was delicious! Not too sweet but not bitter. They both said their cappuccinos were also not overly sweet and the coffee was good and strong. As we were waiting, I saw different drinks I could have ordered from their winter menu and I'll have to come back to try something fruity. We don't live in the midtown area but when I come into the city and have a few moments, I'll stop in for sure.

Made in KC Café seems to be an up and comer in the metro coffee biz, with at least 4 cafes and several retail outlets. Their "brand" is sourcing existing brands and makers and re-marketing as "Made in KC". Not very original, but certainly a great secondary market for area roasters and bakers. I don't have a clue where my iced caramel latte beans were roasted or my large brownie was baked. you would assume they would promote it since that is their MOD, but no sign anywhere and the barista didn't seem to eager for questions. At least 5 Guys has signs up where their potato's were grown. If your going boast about riding someone's coattails, then give them some acknowledgment. The space was modern and clean with great little nooks for working or relaxing on multiple levels. Seating ranged from small tables to counter stools to comfy couches. Excellent layout! BUT...the space was barren - with a name like "Made in KC", those desolate walls should be filled with local artists works for sale, KC Jazz artist murals, Rorschach test images made from BBQ sauce, collages of our most notorious criminals... something for God's sake! Just plain empty white walls with a lone mass produced TWA poster...SAD! No music either - coffee shop vibes need a little ambient background noise; or why not rotate some of our amazing musical talent this town is pumping out. Silence is not an option. This place could be so much more, but without any sort of identity to bring someone back, what's the point. The address is on 31st St. but is hidden around the corner on Oak. With the Filling Station, and Billie's Grocery both just 2 blocks away, Made in KC Café really needs to try a little harder. The image of KC that you are representing done left town in the late 90's.

Great coffee, delicious bake goods and a cool, calm environment. I could definitely see why some of my coworker will go there to get some excel work done. The atmosphere is laidback and chill.I had an iced vanilla latte (because the heat outside was too much) and then I also got 2 energy oat balls and a strawberry cheesecake muffin. They were all excellent. I can't wait to go back soon.

This is a few different stores in one. We found the gifts to be nice quality and bought a few things. My mom ordered an ice coffee that ended up being almost $10. The drink was mediocre and wasn't worth the cost.
