M&E Photo Studio

Brief and to the point:I have had the pleasure of attending a variety of events where M&E Photo Studios has been present, and I have always ALWAYS been impressed. They are complete pros that produce some seriously beautiful work. I am consistently impressed with how they use lighting, and their aesthetic just meshes with mine perfectly. I will say that I prefer their studio work to what I've seen on location. Their portraits are fantastic, and I get a huge kick out of their photo booth projects. I would gladly work with them on a professional level, but more importantly, they would be my first choice if I were to hire a photographer for an event with my friends and family.

M&E did a wonderful job with my wedding photos. Before we spoke, I fell in love with their photos and then when we spoke, I could tell Louise was the perfect fit for me. She was very clear about her style, very organized, so professional and helpful - I especially appreciated how helpful and communicative she was too me as an out of town bride. We love our photos and I'd highly recommend m&e!

We booked Paper Sun Photography (formerly M&E Photo Studio) for our engagement and wedding photos in KC, and we are so happy we did! The moment I saw the incredible portfolio of work on their website, I knew in my heart that we had to book them for our wedding. Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out amazing and we are so in love with all of the pictures we got back! Their photographers are top notch and have the eye to shoot those intimate details you want captured forever on your big day. Chris was a breeze to work with and was very flexible when it came to scheduling our last minute engagement session. He is very personable and it was great planning with him and going over ideas, and he was very receptive to any needs that we had and was on top of communication. He was also able to work some serious magic with our tight schedule and get all of the photos we wanted! Mollie was also present on our wedding day as a second photographer and her contributions were truly fantastic! Now we have perfectly beautiful memories of our wedding that our family can treasure forever. Thank you for capturing our best day ever!

M&E shot our wedding last year and our photos were absolutely amazing. They gave us 750 photos and I swear, each one of them is perfect. Before the wedding we were asked what we most wanted to be captured during our day- We said that we wanted to see the real moments between friends and family and the shear happiness and fun that was around us and that's exactly what they did. Our wedding was outside at a historic barn and I had bright bold colors everywhere, I wanted to see the blue sky, green grass and bright reds and pinks and yellows and oranges. Emily did an amazing job capturing the colors and every detail of the wedding that, as the bride, you spend months or years obsessing over and then hardly get to see on your wedding day. All of our prints are gorgeous and so is the wedding album we ordered! I highly recommend them and we will definitely go back for anniversary photos... maybe even family photos! ;) Thanks again Emily!!

We couldn't have been happier with our choice to book with M&E. We loved our engagement pictures and loved our wedding photos even more!! I wanted the photos to be candid and capture the intimate moments and feelings through the day and Emily totally delivered! We constantly get complements on how beautiful our pictures turned out and how unique they are. They perfectly captured our personalities and emotions, and the end product were pictures unique to us and not "cookie cutter" wedding photos. Hiring M&E was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, the pictures were amazing and working with them was effortless, I highly recommend M&E!

I have worked with both of these women individually. While I appreciate and respect Mollie Hull's professionalism, workmanship, and artistry, Emily adds what I can only describe as a "negative energy" to the group. I was seriously considering M&E for my upcoming wedding by request of my finance. Emily's condescending attitude, blatant disrespect for stylistic requests, and general disregard for proper business etiquette have secured by business elsewhere. Sorry, Mollie. You have a great talent and a gem of a business. Get rid of the negative baggage, and you'll have a a solid business moving forward.

I purchased the living social for their photo booth to use at my wedding. I WAS NOT impressed with the professionalism of the group or the quality of the photo booth. The pictures were taken and guests were not given on copy of their photo, but rather told they would be emailed later a copy of their picture. This was a huge turn off and most people didn't even bother doing the photo booth due to this. When corresponding with M&E they were always very short and rude. I would never use their services again. It was a waste of money, and was very disappointing to have at my wedding.
