We reserved a lane for two hours for a child's birthday party. When we were ready to start bowling we asked for the bumpers. At that point in time they told us that bumpers were only available based on your height, which is no higher than a toddler. So we then asked for the lighter balls, and were shut down once again. Also apparently only for toddlers. So now I have six young girls rolling gutter ball after gutter ball because they can't have lighter balls OR bumpers. What a waste of money. I will NEVER be back! So disappointed for my daughter!

So during our fun visit in Kansas City we decide to stop hear to bowl on our way back to St. Louis and I'm so glad we did. This newly renovated bowling alley is an awesome family fun place! All the lanes work with no problems, nice clean/shiny wood lanes, the staff was amazing very friendly, professional and helpful. The arcade for the kids was amazing as well ( and for adults too if you like to be a kid sometimes like me ) lol. They have TV screens that shows the music videos and the music playlist was great. The food was better than your typical bowling alley, over all the prices to bowl and eat is a little above average but well worth it for what you get. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

My husband bowls on a league at this alley. He fell coming off the approach on a piece of metal sticking up and the front of his shoe got caught and he fell and his elbow hit the screen that you use to control the lanes to add names and what not. He cracked the screen on ACCIDENT! No one and I mean not one person that works for lunar bowl came to check on my husband or the screen. A week goes by and he's back again for league and before he could even get his bowling shoes on a lady by the name of Courtney which is said to be the owner comes to my husband with a police officer to discuss the broken screen. Now it's interesting since the week before the police officer was not there.. now they have had a officer there to monitor wether people are complying with the mask mandate or not. But now all the sudden something breaks and you bring a officer up to intimidate my husband? You didn't even speak to him first.. the officer wasn't needed. Next thing.. Courtney is asking my husband to pay for the broken screen. $721.96 for a freaking screen. This is beyond ridiculous. No "are you okay" nothing. Just give me the money to fix the screen. Right now with Covid 19.. not everyone has $721.96 to shell out. And being that I understand bowling alleys are taking a hit. Isn't that what your insurance is for? Especially when it was a freaking accident. You know he didn't do it on purpose. And on top of that.. there was no incident report.. nothing written up.. nothing... just a video. But nothing stating things are spoke about and discussed. Just give me the $721.96. Oh we can offer a payment plan... wow... still.. $721.96.. my husband was nice enough and embarrassed since Courtney decided to do this in front of everyone and not take him aside and talk about it... he paid it. There is even something else that's interesting is.. the person that's in charge of the league found out that night.. didn't even contact my husband.. not asking if he's okay or what happened so my husband knew what to expect. If you want to deal with terrible and I mean people who have no remorse or give two fucks about any of there customers better yet their league bowlers.. by all means.. bowl here.. but my self and my husband will not be coming back.. and I will continue to make sure people know what type of business is ran here..

What a fun place! Skeptical doesn't come even come close to my reaction when a friend told me that he knows the owner of Lunar Bowl and wanted to go out there to watch a soccer game. The adventurous side of me won out though and I agreed to make the 25 minute trek from the Crossroads to Blue Springs. We started our evening in the Blue Moon-the bar and grill attached to the bowling alley. I loved the decor. The bar is not named after the ever popular Wit beer but is a huge restaurant with a large blue moon in the center and a skyline along the far wall behind a large screen where the game was projected for us. We didn't have the sound of the game on because of the DJ that came in to spin but he played an eclectic variety of music so we didn't mind. Do not expect this to be only a bowling bar. It is more than that but not quite a full bar and grill. The service was superb and the atmosphere laid back without being sloppy. I was really impressed. Drink-wise, there was a surprising variety of bottled beers. Way more options for spirits than I expected (including $5 Long Islands?!) and draft beers were under $5 for large pours of the usual bar selections of Domestics and Boulevards. I went with a 90 Shilling and then went to drafts from there and was really pleased by my bill after four hours of being there. The food was great, especially since it is a bowling alley. The burgers were large, the fries were basic but tasty and they also have seasoned fries and onion rings for the more adventurous appetite. A friend got the chicken fingers and fries and we were all shocked at the size and quality of what she got. I expected to see stadium-like chicken fingers but she was given a HUGE portion of them and a small amount of fries. They looked fresh and were all white meat. She ended up sharing and still had some left over. I will be getting those next time. Once the soccer game was over, we bowled a game or two and had a lot of fun! The score-keeping system was easy to program, the staff took music video requests, (there were three large screens that pulled down between lanes and music videos played to make it more of a club-like atmosphere) and the house lights were dimmed (NOT Cosmic Bowling) with flashy colored lights. Not only did I bowl my second best game on these lanes, but the staff accommodated my bum foot and let me bowl with my ace wrap and boot on and then one of their bowling shoes on the non-injured foot. I thought for sure they'd make me take the boot off but they were really nice about it...and a bit smart assed and joked with me about it, which I loved. Go to Lunar Bowl and the Blue Moon for a refreshing break from the normal routine. They make bowling modern and cool again and I will definitely be back. Just make sure you have a full tank of gas if you're coming from downtown. It is a trip but it is well worth the journey.

We took our family to cosmic bowl and was very disappointed with the videos they chose to show. The screens come down over the lanes so there is no avoiding seeing them. There was so much inappropriate behavior and nudity in the videos I was very disappointed. Not a family friendly environment.

we had our daughters birthday party there, reserved two lanes. ordered two pizzas, one was to be 1/2 pepperoni and cheese then a cheese pizza. 45 minute later our pizzas came out, one full pepperoni and our cheese 10 minutes later. this was not what we ordered, we notified the staff working. they refused to correct the issue, so i had to buy another 18.00 pizza to try to cover the kids only wanting cheese, really frustrating. the owner was gone by this point. the people working had no clue how to correct the situation. then some of our friends ordered nachos, they got queso dip, when went up to have this corrected, said they'd get a discount. then the worker came over and said they owed .05 cents more. terrible service. then the bartender apologized for the messes these people kept making and the errors. really need staff who understand customer service and how to correct errors and not be annoyed responding to customers with complaints and requests to have their orders corrected.

The place is nice, but the staff is so rude and inconsiderate. We had called earlier in the night to see if we could make a reservation, as it was Saturday night. We were told that they did not take reservations, but when we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation. Then we were added to a waiting list, and later put on a lane with no lights. We were bowling in darkness; we couldn't even see the pins. Upon bringing this to the attention of the staff, a tall male between 17-25 years old, could not even have the courtesy to make eye contact as me as a 22y/o girl, who asked him if there was a problem with our light. I proceeded to say "isn't that kinda messed up if we can't see the pins", to which he replied with absolutely nothing and tried to look to be included in a conversation among the other employees. He could have responded with let me ask a manager to help you, but no. He ignored me. So, we continued to bowl in darkness. At the end of our hour, my boyfriend asked for the manager, after waiting for 15 minutes, she never showed up. Not one person in this place could make things right. We will not be coming back here when main event is only 10 min away. However, a manager finally approached us while sitting to finish our pitcher of beer, she claimed she had no idea about the problem, but did offer us a pitcher or one free game, which is generous, but keep in mind a game on weekdays is only $5 each.
