Very small, very intimate little hole on the wall restaurant that serves awesome food. Just really enjoyed finding this place and intend to return there when we visit Lawrence.

Queso was delicious! Got the Lulu tacos and was confused by the mozzarella cheese but overall the food was seasoned well and decent portion. I would go back and try something different. Service was great, everyone was very friendly.

It was so good the first time we came back! Once again the food was awesome. We had the Choriqueso. I found it to be tasty! It came out in cast iron and sizzling hot. Delicious. I had the Enchiladas Mexicans. If you've had lots of enchiladas in the past then order these. It was a nice variety of 4 different types. Potatoes, beans and meat. Bright point was the steak it came with. Perfectly cooked. Very good. Delicious. My wife had the street tacos. She said very good. Some of the best she's ever had. We got the flan they were out of the first visit! It is hard to find words to describe how delicious it is! Excellent service, same as before. We will be coming back here again!

Wow excellent delicious food.They serve $5 lime margaritas All day and 7 days a week.They also have margaritas excellent drink menus.They serve free chips and salsa.My wife asked for a taco salad minus the tortilla shell and was given a cabbage shell instead.She said it was the best salad in Lawrence. She eats allot of salads around Lawrence. I had a fajita style dish served in a iron bowlWhich kept the meal very hot.the meal had strips of beef and chicken breast.included is shrimp and sauted vegetables.Rice,beans and quak included.This place has seating of 8 tables 2 chairs per Table.New Fav

Found this spot when our first pick was closed. A great find! Food was really good! Interesting- not just standard Mexican food menu- The woman who waited on us was very friendly and answered questions easily. The portions of what we ordered were very generous. It is a small space, but brightly colored and has a good vibe.Our nephew said they are newly opened, and I hope everyone gives them a try.They'll be my first stop next time in Lawrence.

This wonderful new Mexican restaurant had only been open for two weeks, when we tried it. The restaurant's opening was so successful that it's small dining room already was too small. It contains four booths, two tables, and one unisex bathroom. We arrived for dinner at 4 pm on a Friday. We chose a booth. By 4:30 pm, all of the booths were taken. By 4:45 pm, no seating was left in the restaurants, and people were waiting for tables.We got the shrimp ceviche and the chili rellenos. Both were excellent. We also got a Martini and a Mexican beer. The entrees come with beans and rice, but you can substitute other sides for them, such as guacamole or avocado slices. The chips are excellent: thick and not greasy. They have vegetarian black beans.Although they have many choices of cocktails and beers, they oddly have no wine. Perhaps that will change in the future. We noticed there seems to be an available, unused store next door in the same strip mall. Hopefully this restaurant will expand into that space, since the current dining room is too small for such an excellent Mexican restaurant.
