Oh boy a scrapbook store! I don't know how I missed this one but I do go there. I like to make cards and take classes on making cards and buy things for making cards...there's a pattern that might need professional help! And when I need professional help, I visit LS Scrapbook Boutique. She has an answer to every one of my dumb questions: How do you glue such a tiny strand of paper? Was that made with a Sizzix? What ink is that? How do I color that? She has monthly crop-ins. That's where you do scrapbooking or card making for 2 days straight. She has weekly classes. She has oddities that can't be bought at Hobby Lobby. She has lay out 12/12 kits. It literally is a scrapbook boutique.

5 Stars - Service5 Stars - Selection5 Stars - Quality5 Stars - Classes3 Stars - PricesWould I go back? That would be an emphatic "Yes Ma'am ! ". Just try and stop me! I should really preface this review by stating... Warning! The use of this store has been determined addictive by the crafting community! It is easy to find, on the corner of 3rd and Douglas, in beautiful downtown Lee's Summit. And there wasn't a parking meter anywhere that I could see! Hooray !They have a huge selection of nonstop eye candy. Literally, anything you could possibly want or need for your scrapbooking obsession. If they don't have it... Judee, The owner, will get it for you,or tell you where you might be able to procure it on your own. But seriously, if it isn't in there, you probably really don't want it anyway. For a tiny shop, this place is packed from floor to ceiling with fabulous crafting supplies. Next time I go, I'm planning on packing a lunch! They offer a variety of classes and times to make it convenient for you. Skill levels range from beginner to expert. And Judy will answer all your questions. No matter how many, as honestly as she can. She will be an excellent resource for all of your scrap booking concerns. And, don't be afraid to buy one of those highfalutin electronic gizmos... because she also offers one-on-one instructions. So when you buy that fangdangled contraption of your dreams... You know how to use it!So you've got no excuse not to visit Scrapbook Boutique... Except that pesky warning about getting a silly little ol' addiction/obsession thing!

This little store is located on a lovely corner of downtown Lees Summit, and I found it surprisingly good! I was surprised because from the outside the space looks so limited that it was hard to imagine that they would have much of anything, but they manage to fit quite a lot of good inventory into that little space. There is even a classroom/work space in the back. Although they do not have a giant selection of paper, what they do have is relatively new, and I actually ended up grabbing a few pieces of Basic Grey I was missing. What I found to be most impressive was their great selection of basic tools and supplies. A lot of smaller scrapbook stores tend to focus on the paper and embellishments and let their stock of basic tools slip. Not so here. You can easily stop in here for whatever you need.

I am not much of a scrapbook buff. I happened to step into this place with friends. I was still amazed how much was in this store for its size. The staff immediately asked if we needed help. There were posted ideas. I am use to the giant stores, this was a nice change of pace to see.

I have been coming to this Store for years now. I love the layout ideas posted there. The Staff even helps with how to use your cameo shillouette. They offer a verity of classes from making your own die cuts, scrapbook layouts and even glass etching... I have even taken photos of layouts with permission so that I could either replicate the layout or make a new layout with some of their designs. I'm always finding new designs, paper and embellishments here. Anything that you are looking for that the owner doesn't have in stock, she orders for you and calls you when it's in.

I also find it odd that a retail store is only open until 5? There used to be a great store on the service road of 50 hwy by the Catfish place, and I LOVED those ladies. Very talented, but unfortunately that store is closed, and I know they stayed open later than 5. Hope the store decides to stay open a little later even until 6 or 6:30 would at least allow those who work to stop in and grab what they need. But for now I will be going to Hobby Lobby, Michaels or JoAnn's. Sorry you lost my business.

I love this place! It is my place to run away from the kids for a weeknight class. The owner, staff and clients are all so friendly and fun. The quality of the paper surpasses the paper you will find at big box craft stores. The store may appear to be small, but Judy surely stuffs a lot in there. I am always able to find something that I never knew I needed. There are also many kits that her staff has put together that you can take home or put together in a class. Classes fill up fast, so be sure to follow the calendar either on their website or through their emails.

I really enjoy visiting this shop. The selection in good. I would rather stop in here to get paper than waste time visiting Joanns, Hobby Lobby or Michael looking through sub par papers. Here, I always find more than I was originally looking for. I have taken a class, and I enjoyed the small group conversation and hands on instruction. My husband bought my Silhouette from here for Christmas and they were extremely helpful. He said they gave him more information than he knew what to do with. I will agree with a previous reviewer that spoke of the less than great hours of operation. I do wish the hours were better as I can only usually make it in on the weekends and that's with a toddler and infant in tow.

I absolutely LOVE this little scrapbook place!! They have some of the most beautiful and creative ideas I have seen for layouts. The owner is very nice and helpful, and they are so down to earth and make me feel welcome every time I come there!! She has scrappin crops in the evenings and on weekends some late nights! Have to get one of her calendar of classes and crops to pick what ones to choose as there are quite a few!!
