This Lowe's always seems like a hardware store that is somehow dealing with depression and low self esteem. There are some very friendly good people there, but trying to find the tool or part needed frequently ends in going someplace else. We are in the middle of remodeling a home, so our visits are frequent and many times we aren't exactly sure what to get. And there are some great equally helpless staff to point us to the wrong solution. There are things the Lowe's has. Craftsman tools and some parts, for instance. And there are things they don't, like the proper wide replacement bracket for a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan that probably was purchased there. It's like a darker version of HD. Literally, it feels darker and less friendly, as odd as that sounds. The comparison applies to the staff as well, where the guy in the plumbing isle at Lowe's can lethargically point you in general to the location of some of the parts, the guy in the plumbing isle at HD can brightly describe exactly how to solve your problem backed by 40 years of master plumbing experience he recently retired from.Sure, we frequent Lowe's. It's conveniently located. And in general, a 2x4 is a 2x4, and a dry wall screw is a dry wall screw.

1st and formost I'm forever gratef3for getting a working dryer finally. I spoke with a gentleman named Th9mas in cabinets and he answered all my questions in regards to appliances. From start to finish the experience was amazing. All questions answered. They wiped all doubtsi may have had based off previous experience. From order to delivery nothing but top notch. Delivery team introduced himself, he had questions. He executed the plan and now for tye 1st time months i have a working dryer. So grateful.

Just an update. After explaining our situation, in a Tweet on the Twitter, I was approached by Lowe's Cares. I suspect it's a little like Comcast Cares. I was directed to a rant and rave page, where I typed in my Yelp review. Within an hour, we got a call from the store manager. He set up the date (yesterday) and assured us we'd get the right refrigerator. He took 10% off. They were to call, give us a 2 hour window as we have doggies that need to be persuaded into a room with the door closed.They were supposed to photograph the woodwork damage and take pictures, sand it and fix it.They called yesterday at 12:15. They showed up at around 3ish. We had already put the food back into the coolers again. They told us the refrigerator we received was a test refrigerator, never meant to be sold in the first place to anyone. They rolled their eyes at the woodwork damage, and finally got the test refrigerator out of the house. They installed the new refrigerator, glanced at the woodwork scratch with an eyeroll and left.By now, I'm tired of Lowes and Sears and refrigerators and inadequacy. As a customer, I've been finished with Sears for awhile. As a customer of Lowe's, it'll be a long time before I go into Independence Lowes. But I really need to ask them why they didn't sand and fix the scratch like the manager insisted they would be doing.

Went to Lowes today to look for a replacement for my riding mower, Not a single person was in the lawn mower area.. Not one, So I waited a good 10 mins sitting on and off the various mowers and no one still showed up.I pressed the help button there at the register in that area and 10 mins later.. Still no one and I simply walked out. Headed down to see what Home Depot had to offer. Shameful customer service or well lack of ANY customer service !

If I could give 0 stars I would! The return policy is terrible. The customer service department is like trying to put an crack eggshell back together. They make up their own rules as if there aren't other Lowe's stores in America that don't go by their made up rules. The supervisor will yell at you and tell you they don't care what the receipt says they won't help you. I will NOT shop at this location ever again! I will drive 30 minutes away to Home Depot before I ever go back to giving any Lowe's my money all because of this one incident.

The majority of the customer service was pretty lacking, I talked to 3 people and barely got any help. I bought something that was marked at $22 and it rung up as $35 but Ashley helped me with everything, fixed all of my problems. So it wasn't the best time but Ashley we y above and beyond for me.

Horrible customer service!! Go to another location or Home Depot!!! I had to ask 4 times and wait 45 minutes before someone came to help me in the power tools isle and I saw useless employees talking to each other or using phones rather than helping customers! If u value ur time at all than go to another location or Home Depot for gods sake

went to the store located on Blue ridge, Indep, Mo. Needed a new refrigerator since mines was on its last leg, not keeping food cold. Worked with a man name Jerome Haywood, who seemed nice and helpful, until you have a problem. Then when talking to him on the phone, I asked his name and he lied and said Jay. I knew it was Jerome because he has a different voice that is clearly easy to recognized. Here is the problem, the refrigerator was delivered on Monday. The men took it out of the box and it had several dents, so he asked us to look at it before they actually took it off the truck. We declined to accept. They took it back to the store. I called and spoke with Jerome and he told me his name was Jay, I guess he didn't care about good customer service since he already made the sale and getting commission on it. . called back got Wallace I was told that they would look in the warehouse to see if they had another one of the same model that we selected. Wallace called us back and said they had another one and would make sure it went out for delivery on Thursday. We waited around the house all day, finally at 5:25pm call the store to see what happened. Wallace said the delivery men came out at 2:05pm and took a picture of the house. Why would someone come to your house and do not ring the doorbell. This is not making sense to me. Wallace is trying to be helpful blamed it on the delivery co. Still no refrigerator now old refrigerator went out and food is spoiled. I will never use them ever again

Trying to find a replacement for a storm door latch and seeing on line that Lowes carried the brand I needed, I went to the Sterling store. The item I needed was not in stock. Customer Service was a joke since the most help I got was " I don't know". I asked the clerk and the manager If I could speak to the person that orders the restocking items and "I don't know " again popped up. I asked if there was any way I could order the latch I needed ; same response. Unbelievable and left me totally lost. I had no choice but to leave. I have shopped at that store since the day it opened. Not any more.
