Beignets.I don't think I really need to do any more of a review!But, I guess I could tell you about the many different varieties of wine they have to choose from. Also plenty of other drinks from the full bar with very knowledgeable staff that can help pair your wine or get you the right off-menu mixed drink.I also could tell you about the other amazing food offerings they have. All of which has been phenomenal. And of course, the whole place radiates comfort. Which is something I look for sometimes... I want a place's ambience to scream "Just come be comfortable here!"Complaint time (because you can't have light without dark)!Too many people know about this place and it is always packed. All the rest of you stop going so I can get my favourite spot! Just kidding... support this place as best you can!

We gave Louie's a go for restaurant week and having been to their old location, I had very high hopes. I'd always really enjoyed it, but this time was not the best. In the past, the brunch has been the star, so I figured dinner would also be solid, but the lobster bisque was served cold (don't think it was supposed to be), the salmon + sauce was really bitter. I'd also have preferred the donuts be a bit smaller and perhaps a bit more moist. I think that if you're going here for a wine happy hour it's the perfect spot, but my last experience was just not the best. If I'm in the area I'd be open to trying it out again!

Louie's Wine and Dive is a laid back local spot offering high quality ingredients in their dishes. We started off with the cheese curds and I got the 4 pork gnocchi. The food was excellent and it sounds like they have a rotating and changing menu. Our server was great and very knowledgeable about the menu and dishes that were offered. Definitely a place I would go back to dine again.

Great service, great menu- everyone working here was amazing, the customer service really stands out. Our server was knowledgeable and provided suggestions on food and wine. The food was timed just right. The only note that it was on the louder side- definitely a Saturday but was hoping for a quieter dinner. 10/10 would go again though.

Cute spot! We had reservations here and had to be out in 45 minutes due to another appointment after and the staff was so accommodating and understanding of our time crunch! They were so nice and sweet the whole time. We all shared the beignets and the sausage biscuit and gravy. That tasted amazing!!! Yum!! And plenty of it too. The beignet was not a traditional beignet you'd find in like Louisiana or something. It was different. lol not the greatest but over all the place was great and I would love to come back to try other things!!

I've been a fan if Louie's since their Waldo days but I don't get out there as much anymore. The food is still stellar, though, and the service has always been great.I didn't get it on this visit, but the Four Pork Gnocchi is by far my favorite dish of theirs- I highly recommend it if it's your first visit.This time I got the Cheese Curds, which were very good (although the dill in the aioli was an odd choice, to me), and the Swordfish au Poivre which was delicious. I've gotta get out for brunch soon, it used to be my favorite in Kansas City!

Great service with experienced staff! The drink menu has a great variety, with full bar option. Happy hour specials available during the week. The old fashioned drink was on point! Lunch menu has nice pick two option. The food portions are really good and taste amazing.
