Their spicy margaritas are really good. Service was great and it has that old Mexican Restaurant ambiance which is great.

So one plate was tacos, rice and beans. Rice and beans were cold and the taco filling was chewy. Odd that it would be, but it was. The burrito plate was a solid 8 easily and had a fair temp. Waitress was good and checked on our table frequently. The restaurant has a bar area with tv and plenty of seating. I was disappointed and if I were to go back the only thing I will rave about the chips were hot and freshly fried and their salsa both hot and mild were quite tasty!

Last minute dinner plans found us at Los Corrals. I loved the weirdness of this building and the different rooms. The small bar at the front was cute and so was the decoration. Service was alright, kitchen was slow. Food was not bad, but nothing spectacular. I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur, and this menu didnt seem particularly authentic to me. We, unfortunately, got sat by some obnoxious guys. Having to listen to their conversation and nonsense was not fun. Like the food, overall Los Corrals was not bad, but didn't stand out enough for a second visit. Street parking. Short walk from streetcar line.

there's a reason los corrals has been around for over 70yrs. they're serving up some of the very best deep fried tacos, margaritas, and fresh, hot chips in town!!on the menu: fish tacos, pork tamales, deep fried beef tacos, kids beef taco x 2, queso, chips & salsa, and spicy margs our thoughts: loved the wide variety of menu items and the ability to mix and match your favorites. everything is so fresh and cooked to order, and especially the chips and warm salsa. the staff are so friendly, quick, and knowledgeable our tip: definitely try the deep fried taco, it was our first time trying them and it's the new favorite of our kiddos

@loscorralskc - Kansas City, MOHad the absolute best Taco Tuesday tonight with @loscorralskc - Everything hit the spot and service was top tier! Tonight we went with some classics, but also branched out.@loscorralskc is located downtown on ninth street. They have been serving up some of the best Mexican food in Kc since 1949. Make sure to check out their Happy Hour Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-5pm We ended the night with "dessert" with the Chico Rita Frozen Sugar Marg - highly recommend! Parking is easy to navigate and it is in a great location in downtown. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly and gave us the best suggestions. The margaritas were the highlight and I highly recommend trying. I love this place! It is the oldest mexican restaurant in KC, has moved locations but the business is the same. I can NOT get enough of the steaming hot salsa and how perfectly it goes with their warm tortilla chips. This is the place for those days when all you need is some comfort and a house margarita on the rocks w/ salt.
