Lopez De Mexico

Excellent salsa not to spicy and hot. Guacamole was good and a good portion for a side dish. I had the 2 enchiladas and taco. For me I appreciated the fact the enchiladas were not drowned in either a red or green sauce and the nice part was they were able to stand on their own. I was able to enjoy the enchilada wrap and able to taste the actual ingredients. The staff were extremely efficient and respectful of everyone in there. I'm an old building buff and I like the way they were able to bring the Mexican atmosphere while leaving things like the original ceiling and other parts of the historic building alone. I will eat here when I'm in the Atchison area.

A very small place. We were a largish party in town to celebrate a special occasion. They very kindly reserved a table for us so our 80-year old mother didn't have to wait. The waitress kept separate tickets for us. The food was good, if under seasoned. Almost everyone in our party had to add salt. The salsa was sweet, reminiscent of ketchup. The staff was so friendly it was a very nice night! The margaritas were delicious!

I ordered the Chalupa Platter, then was brought out a plate with two hard flat round corn tortillas topped with lettuce, guacamole and tomatoes. I.E. tostadas. I pointed this out to the server. She told me that was the Chalupa Platter and even brought me the menu to point out my order.I grew up surrounded by Mexican immigrants, therefore have had a lot of Mexican food. I never before was served just tostadas. But according to Wikipedia they can resemble each other. Okay ... But it def tasted just like a tostada. I was disappointed. Keep this in mind if you ever want to order a Chalupa here. You'll pretty much get a tostada..Also, I got a raspberry margarita. It tasted kinda watered down. My friend's strawberry margarita was tasty though. Hit or miss I guess?

Great tostados, questions, chips salsa. Fast easy fresh! Nice local spot. Great service.

Best in Mexican food in town. Service is always friendly and you can't beat the prices. They have great guac, crispy tacos (my favorite) and margaritas. We like taking home a bag of the cinnamon crisps too!

The service was amazing really kind sever. We got our chips and drinks just fine but the server did take quite some time to get around to take our order but it was expected as there was quite a few people here . I order a plain taco and the meat came really dry and there wasn't a lot of lettuce but so much cheese . The beans were not good . My grandmother order a taco and the bottom was all soggy and her enchiladas were gross . They were extremely soggy and just not good . Other than the food service was great and the place was really pretty and had cute decor all around .

This place was just ok , the food wasn't anything special. I've had much better Mexican food in my life time. This place is great if you're really hungry and you want to eat something just to eat, but I wasn't too crazy for it.

Tried this place tonight. Really good food. Friendly staff. If you want good Mexican food you need try thus place.

Very disappointed in the chips and salsa. The chips are thick and the salsa has no kick whatsoever. The Margaritas are way too expensive for the amour you get although they taste good. The service is good. I will look for another place to have Mexican food next time.
