Longview Community Center

Perfect for what it is. Clean and well maintained. Good amount of workout equipment. Big gym for basketball, pickle ball, volleyball, etc. Huge pool with 9 lanes. Good sized hot tub. Big locker rooms. Not much for kids at this location. No slides or anything in the pool. If you are an adult that wants to swim and not be interrupted by children, this is the place you want to go.

Do not come here expecting to use the spa. Call it hardly ever works always down for mysterious reasons. Not sure what the membership dues go towards but it does not go to any permanent fixing of the spa. Very disappointing.

Son works out here several times per week and I have to say that the facilities are vastly overpriced for what you get and the management team provides a customer experience severely disconnected from reality. I easily spend 6+ hours of my week here just sitting in a lobby because I'm not able to use the empty tables, chairs or outlets in the "paid access areas." I've considered becoming a member to use my time more wisely, but simply put, there are better quality facilities for what you would pay here.

LCC is spacious, mostly clean, kinda new and well equipped. Can't get a better gym in the area for $20. The equipment is fantastic. I don't use the pool, but it looks nice. Weight area is not huge but is of good quality. They do need an area for Olympic lifts and another power rack. They also always seem to be low on plates.Certainly not a fancy luxury gym, no there is no towel service and sadly no steam room or sauna, but for the price...the value is great!

Great facilities and an excellent price. Lee's summit has some of the best parks and gyms. And The Longview Community Center is one of my favorites. The area is beautiful and the equipment is new. During the week in the mornings it is very chill. Everyone is polite and respectful. The pool is great, 25 yards and always has a lifeguard.
