The fact that this hotel is rated barely over 4 stars is criminal! It is outstanding. We stayed over the holidays with the family and it was perfect.Priced exceptionally well. Extremely clean. Well appointee rooms. Solid restaurants, awesome bar and the service was world class! One gripe and the only gripe, the holiday decorations were already removed and it was the 26th! (Oddly enough, the holiday music was still playing however??)Highly recommend Loews if you're ever in the KC area!

My family and I stayed here over a long weekend and it was really not pleasant. On the positive side, it is right off the highway and walkable to restaurants, etc. It is also a new building, so it had a nice lobby, with a stylish bar, and the rooms were nicely appointed and had floor to ceiling windows. There is also a nice outdoor terrace bar with live music and lots of comfy seating - great for sunset dining in the summer. So far so good.Where did things go wrong? To start, the lobby takeaway cafe is very overpriced with terrible coffee and pretty awful premade breakfast sandwiches. The pastries were terrible as well. It was like food served on an airplane. Then there was the indoor pool. I expect a "luxury" hotel to manage the property properly. We took our kids to the pool one day and there were about 15 teenagers getting wild - throwing a football, diving into the pool, wrestling, etc. all while their parents just sat there and watched. The football hit one of us and we had to call the hotel security to get everyone removed. Hotel security and the manager on duty handled it very well and were truly concerned for safety. However, when we checked out in the morning, we asked to speak to the manager about the prior day's chaos - and waited 5+ minutes for him to come around from the back office. No sorry for making you wait, nothing. He was dismissive and condescending. We were shocked. This was overall a terrible experience and we will not be back.

Kansas City's Best Rooftop Date Night Loews rooftop social gathering known as Horsefeather Social is top tier. From the amazing open aired patio, perfect views of downtown, crafted cocktails that will blow you away and live entertainment on weekends. Did I mention they have yard games, too?On our date night we tried the Shrimp Ceviche - some of the freshest I have had in KC. The sausage flatbread pizza was delish. But the drinks win. Such good tasting cocktails and mocktails and dare I say the best espresso martini I have ever had. There is a parking garage on site you can get validated. It's on the 7th floor of the hotel. This one was on my bucket list too long. Don't miss out on this gem in KC share with a friend and enjoy your drinks with a view.

This is a beautiful hotel. The lobby bar has good food and drinks with great staff. During the warmer months the rooftop has a fantastic ambiance with lifesize games and live music and amazing views. The rooftop food is tasty as well. I make it a point to come here each time I'm in town.

This is a beautiful hotel. We've taken our engagement and part of our wedding photos here, tried the Stilwell bar and restaurant, and went up to the 7th floor for the Horsefeather Bar. If you're here for a drink, wonderful! Both bars have a full bar and can make you whatever. If you're here for food, it's just so-so for me. Heads up, the outdoor patios for both bars have very little ventilation. Once it reaches 85 degrees, the heat really becomes unbearable.

Staying here was great! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfy and the room was quite spacious. Regarding amenities and dining, I loved the gym and the pool areas. The bar was beautiful and the food was great! Definitely will be staying here again :)

I didn't stay in the hotel, but I had a drink at the swanky Bar Stillwell. It feels like the nerve center of the place.A fun mix of hotel guests and locals waxing poetic over their favorite dram.I'm a whiskey and bourbon guy, so I struck up a conversation with the bartenders. Moment later, I was drinking a delicious Old Fashioned and discussing the bartender's favorite pours and specialty bottles.I'm not sure if I'll be a regular visitor, but I will definitely be back. This is a great place for a pre or post downtown dinner or event drink.

Lovely hotel! Great location, helpful concierge, great selection of toiletries, fast elevators. Absolutely no issue at all. I could see fireworks from my room after the Chiefs v. Ravens game.

Loved this hotel. It's super nice and brand new. Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Beds are insanely comfortable, I even googled what mattress brand they use because I want one for my home. The ONLY downside was the parking. It is $28 a night for self parking, which is understandable given that it's downtown. However, the parking garage is quite small. One night after dinner (not very late at night), we were unable to find a parking spot and were told by valet that the garage was full despite us being hotel guests. We drove around in circles for approximately 20 mins before someone left and we could take their spot. This hotel allows public parking in their garage, so just be aware you might be paying for parking you can't even use (unless they fix this problem). This is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five.

Beautiful hotel! Great in-house bar and cafe with stellar baristas! Gotta give a shoutout to my girl Herika Diaz-Gomez, she makes a mean drink and keeps it real.
