This is just beyond disgusting, when she attempted to get a scoop of potatoes, they were all old and dried out, i could hear them crunching.
Really overcooked, and almost out of beans, not making anymore... at dinner time
5:30pm, dinner time, a couple pieces of baked chicken and not making anymore
a variety of vegetables

I am not sure what is happening with the deli, been going downhill, but tonight was the absolute worst. Dinner time. 5:30pm'ish and out of baked chicken, green beans, almost out of ham and beans. I asked if she was having more come out soon and she said no, this was all for the night. Really? It is dinner time. The worst though was the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. They both looked like they had been there for hours and were so dried out they were crunchy.Really disappointed Sunfresh, this isn't what you used to produce.

Good hearted hard working staff and awesome variety of produce, bakery, meats, etc. Sun Fresh has become much cleaner and better organized over the course of 2-3 years. If you were away for a time, come back! Thanks to the team for being so good to customers and keeping the store clean and fresh. When many businesses shut down the owners in the Summer of 2020 allowed workers from other places to come to work for pay at Sun Fresh wearing their shirts from restaurants, bars, various closed shops. This was an intentional, bring owners to the table and offer a solution thing I'll never forget!

Produce section is rough to say the least. They have removed the butcher counter. The deli counter closes before 7pm. This store is nose diving and management doesn't seem to care. You can contact them about the horrible cashier experiences and they won't reply. Take your business over to Price Chopper, the shopping experience and quality is better all around.

Okay, first of all, this isn't an ultra-modern (super selection) elite grocery store with fancy lights, colorful décor, over inflated prices, and whooplah superficial items made to look fresh and bucolic. If that is what you are looking for then either go elsewhere or move to the mega-suburbs. This grocery store appeals to the nostalgia of days past. The sort of store where you would purchase the basic items, and then a few in which you could make your own from scratch. Remember those days? I believe many now are appreciative of making things from scratch, save from boredom. But I digress, this store has a few isles, no chance in getting lost. It is simple, retro if you will, and not overly confident or trying to persuade you otherwise. It's plain and simply charm. I stop here from the other side of town, if I fancy to stop at the local coffee shop, and go come here to see what's on sale.

Let me start by saying I REALLY wish this store didn't suck. It's supposed to be my neighborhood grocery store, it's supposed to have been getting better since new ownership took over... like 2 years ago. How many articles in the neighborhood paper making excuses saying that the store was in worse shape than you thought until people give up on you completely? The problem is, the building isn't the problem. It's the quality of the food on the shelves and the way the store is run. Here's today's story, but please know, this is one of many bad experiences I've had here. I already have a review on Google, and you can't have more than one review. They've put me off for a year or more now. We decided last minute to make a 4th of July cake. So we picked up a boxed cake mid and some cans of frosting from Sunfresh. I'm really glad that I licked the foil lid of the frosting before I started putting the frosting on my cake. It tasted terrible like the oil had gone rancid. The expiration date is Sept 2019, so it must have gone bad from a storage issue, it not important the food I bought tasted spoiled. So I sent spouse back to the store with one opened, one unopened can of frosting. This shouldn't be hard, give a refund for 2 cans of frosting at $1.68 each. NOPE. They wouldn't give a refund on opened merchandise. Think on that, they sold rancid food and probably restocked the second can which may/may not have the same problem.

This is an expensive grocery store and with a few nice exceptions, my experience has been that the customer service is not very friendly. I will say that the last couple of times I've been to this store the customer service was friendlier so management may be addressing this. I have found some good items like chapstick on major clearance, but other than items in the clearance section and $1 wall, there's not much I'd purchase here unless it was absolutely urgent. There is one nice bonus in this store and that's their movie rental machine, like a Redbox only that they get some? all? movies before Redbox.

ALWAYS check expiration date here! It's a smaller grocery store in the red bridge shopping center so specialty items may not be stocked. They carry the essential grocery items and have decent prices on all items. Again check the dates on ALL items

I used to live out here and go all of the time. Once a year they had fresh plants from Florida and I still have most of mine from 11 years ago - big tall trees! OMG LOVE them! I call them about new plants and they aren't so great about getting back or they would get five stars. But thanks for the beautiful plants! Nice family run business!

It's just an 'ok' place to buy groceries. It has its ups and downfalls, but there is just one thing I really wish they'd fix, and that's the smell when you walk into the store. It always smells like rotten eggs or a sewer leak, right there in the produce area. As a result, I never purchase produce from this store. Not willing to risk it.

I love Sunfresh at Red Bridge for convenience, great people, willingness to help with community fundraisers and it's a quick inn-and-out for the basics. That said I was able to find some items that Walmart and Price Chopper didn't carry. Complaints by others seem to focus on store being dated, I like the fact that I can get my lettuce, eggs, salad bar, bakery, and milk without spending half my morning searching for the aisle that has croutons. Simple person, simple needs, guests coming--I can go to glitzy store for speciality items. Friendliest, most helpful people than I have found at a grocery store.
