Leigh's School of Dance

I love this place. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one.If you're looking to enroll your toddler in any sort of dance class; you should enroll here. I'm not a mom who is looking to get her kid into hard-core, serious, competitive dance (although they have the trophies to back that up, if that is what you're looking for). I'm just a mom who wanted a social environment for her toddler who loves music, and loves dancing around the house. We did the little 6-week summer classes, and we loved it. We do not have a lot of disposable income. At all. So anything I sign my kid up for, I have to really consider. There's a lot of things we can't afford, but re-enrolling for fall classes wasn't even a question.It may sound silly to say after just 6 classes, but this place already feels like home. Warm and inviting doesn't even begin to cover it. My daughter loves it. I love it. I had no idea I'd have such strong feelings about a dance company after 6 weeks, but here we are.

Very unprofessional. Their staff has no professional dance experience. They can't get a handle on their competitive team. So if that's what you're looking for, look somewhere else. All they care about it money, not the growth or safety of students.

This is the dance school that I got the privilege to send my oldest teen daughter to. And not my youngest 9 y/o daughter to. I have been very involved with both my dancers. This is a wonderful dance school. The teachers are magnificent! We have had Miss Sarah, Miss Nyree, Miss Shera, Miss Amanda, Miss Debbie. So I can speak from having a variety of teachers. The girls learned something new and enhanced their technique every dance class. My girls became tremendous dancers and they got CONFIDENCE. Which is the most beautiful thing EVER! You will not be disappointed if you decide to choose this Dance School! They do a RESPLENDENT job! Your dancers, and you as the mom will become family to the teachers at this dance school. Recital time can be a tad stressful unless it was the 2018-2019 dance year and then it was the most beautiful chill experience EVER! It was truly something. I hope this review helps you to make a very good decision! Dance Mom of 2!

Beware. This is the most unorganized, logistically challenged dance studio my children have ever been a part of. The communication regarding rehearsals and pre recital instructions is terrible. The teachers seem to be on autopilot and confused. The down fall of this studio is the lack of professionalism and organization. I could just take my kids to the park to run around and save the money. Note: I'm not talking about little kids classes which I understand could be chaos but this is classes for kids in the 4th and 5th grade and up. The kids learned nothing. Most of the kids didn't know the routine after an entire school year, and after watching rehearsals I know why, as I said above, teachers are on autopilot. Waste of time and money. Won't be back. Wish I could skip recital but we've already invested in a year of tuition and costume.

My child has been at Leigh's for so many years she now is an assistant. She feels like a member of a family. The teachers are so patient and the end of the year show is amazing!

Our family loves being involved in multiple activities. We have always been able to find a balance that lets our kids keep dance in their life. Leigh's instructors will take the time to listen and work with your individual family so your kid(s) can be apart of Leigh's Dance Family! We have been members since 2008!
