This place is fantastic!! We stayed in the Prom King Suite a couple of nights for my wife's birthday. She wanted to go to Weston and there were no rooms available there. This is only 10 minutes away. I love repurposed buildings. This is an old Catholic school. They kept the gym and auditorium which are available for use. They have a nice fitness center. The lady at the front desk was kind and helpful. The rooms are super clean and a bit spartan but cool. Would be fine for an extended stay. A couple of cons: the lobby vending machine is useless and doesn't work. They don't own it though. Also there are no elevators. You cannot navigate this building at all without encountering some stairs. Not sure how they get around the ADA, but if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. We climbed 3 flights to get to our room. Had to make two trips because of luggage. We are blessed to be ambulatory, but if you are not, you won't be able to get around this building. However they were forthright about that. They mentioned it in pre-arrival texts, of which there were too many. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! I would pack less though. Ha! The beds are super comfortable and clean. The individual HVAC is like a residential unit and not the noisy wall units normally found in hotels. Sleep here was gracious, quiet and undisturbed.

This place is on point! Lovely, no hassle check in. Room was nice and clean and bed was comfortable. Hot water in the shower was fast. It's a quaint old building that has modern amenities. No window in my room, wich was a bonus as it was nice and dark and promoted good sleep. I didn't have time to check out the whole hotel but will not hesitate to book again.

Thank you to Taylor and the staff at the Leavenworth Local Hotel. Our family reunion was a huge success. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with kitchenettes, including full sized refrigerators. The beds were soft and comfortable. The event area (gymnasium) had plenty of room for the kids to play as well as tables and seating for well over 40 people. Taylor had the audio/visual system set up with a projector so we could show home movies and a photo slideshow presentation. We were allowed to cater the event ourselves and buy beer and alcohol from the hotel bar.If you want to have a kid friendly event in Leavenworth and provide a comfortable place for your guests to stay, I highly recommend the Leavenworth Local Hotel. Thanks Taylor!

Weird from the get go. They called at 3:15 day of check in to let me know my room wasn't ready? What hotel waits that long and doesn't realize huh, they might be actually driving to their 2 night stay? They told us to come back in 15 mins so we did and waited another 20 mins for three people to clean our room. Front desk was a mess.Room was awesome!!!Stopped at the bar last night since downtown LV non existent bar situation. Gentlemen working hotel desk also the bartender and knows NOTHING about booze. Couldn't find booze I wanted and I pointed it out, said they had no mixer. Friend ordered a drink and no WATER for that drink. He went and found a bottled water and we both asked for whiskey and water. Poured whiskey in one glass and gave each of us 1/3 glass of water separate. WTH??? Pout the water in the whiskey with the ice. So weird.I wouldn't stay in LV again but if I did, this hotel would not get my business.

I travel often for business, so I wanted to try a different kind of hotel. Thought I would give this a try. From the outside, it looked like a really old school. And, guess what, I was right. Trying to find the main entrance or lobby in this huge building was another nightmare. So, supposedly this is a historical building. So, why not turn it into a hotel. Besides the outside look and the numerous blackboards everywhere, everything inside is covered up with white paint and modern stuff.Having the color white almost everywhere is some what of a drag. The ceiling is white, the walls are white, the bed is white, the bathroom is white, the pipes are white, etc.Check-in took forever and the guy at the desk had to call somebody. This place has no elevator, guess they had no need back in the 40's with a three floor building. What's with all the blackboards, if we can't write or draw on them with chalk? I am literally staring at a chalkboard that is just across from my bed. There is a gym and a fitness center in the building. The room seems like a very small condo. Very spartan, but there is a small fridge, microwave, and a hotplate stove. There is a small dishwasher, but no soap for it.Why not mount a tv so it is facing the windows? The floors creak all over when you walk around. The desk I am writing this on is wobbling all over. The shower has lukewarm water at its highest temp setting and doesn't really spray. The bathroom has a barn style sliding door that has a huge gap on one side when it is closed. Nothing like feeling an arctic breeze when you are taking a shower.Walking around barefoot, and then going in the shower and watching all the dirt come off, shows how much they mop the floor. The walls are so thin, that I can hear the person in the room next to me snoring. This place is ok for a night or two, but that is about it. It is good for one person, but not a lot of people.I should have stayed at the Fairfield Inn down the street, much better.
