Leavenworth Landing 5 - B&B Theatre

One way you can help build out a big town feel in a smaller town size is to have a good movie theater. The Leavenworth Landing 5 is a fine theater and the ability to park and walk in is great. This is a great theater if you plan to walk the downtown and attend a movie in the afternoon or that evening. This is not one of those giant screen multiplexes. As the title says, this is a five screen theater. The seats can all recline and every one of the seats have a good view, with none of them being squished together and great armrests. There is one thing that does not get enough mention but should, and that is that this is one of the absolute cleanest movie theaters I have ever been in! It feels like they detail clean it after every showing; walking in to see Spiderman No Way Home the theater had none of the typical problems of a movie theater. Clean seats, the temperature was just right - not too chilly, and there were no long lines to get refreshments.The row separation between the seats is really nice and mirrors many of the large theaters, giving you a big multiplex feel in our community. If you are looking to see the latest blockbuster or a smaller film, give Leavenworth Landing a try. You won't regret it.

The theater is renovated nicely but we went in a warmer day outside and the theater was HOT. Like over 80 degrees inside hot. I stripped my toddler down to a diaper and he was still sweating. If the AC isn't functioning they should temporarily close the establishment to repair.

I recall visiting this theater the last time I was in Leavenworth, about eight years ago. It was under different management and a lot smaller back in the day. I say that only to say that the theater looks much better now. It is very clean, features a solid selection of snacks, to include a bar (although there were only two minors working the night I visited). The theaters are very spacious with plenty of room between seats. The seats were cushioned and reclined as well. On a negative note, the walls are not very sound proof and I heard what must have been another action movie in the next auditorium; it did not ruin the movie nor does it drop my overall rating, but worth noting. Landing 5 offers a free rewards program that is just foolish not to take advantage of. By signing up online, a process that took maybe 5 minutes, I saved about 50% on my Tuesday night ticket and received a large popcorn for only $5. The two employees working were very helpful and professional. This is my go to theater while in Leavenworth.

Ok, ok, I get it, write the dang review already. It has been 18 days since you were there you say, yah you are right so here you have it. This movie theater does not get near the respect it deserves quite honestly. Here you have a multi screen theatre nestled in historic downtown Leavenworth that simply put can hold its own even with the economic dynamics facing them. First understand these are not the super huge wrap around the side walls screens you would find in a location that would seat a couple of hundred, but what you lose with the screen size you gain back and here's how. Maybe 10 seats in a row and each of them recline back. Yah I know that is pretty normal these days but these aren't covered in spilled soda, won't have popcorn stuck in every crack, and won't leave you feeling like you have to take a shower afterwards. they are well cleaned between each showing and likely after the last of the day. Another bonus is the thermostat is set just right so you aren't shivering or sweating through the movie. I know right, some of you know exactly what I am saying. Expect to get raked over the coals for food and drink items, but that is the case in every theatre. In this case you will at least catch a smile and a thank you where in other theatres you get the "move out of the way already" look from the staff as you try to manhandle popcorn, drinks, and candy for the kiddo's. Fairly, Leavenworth Landing Theater deserves the five stars awarded if not maybe a star above simply for cleanliness!

Awesome place to watch movies! Very comfortable seats. Staff was courteous. Well managed theater.

Great little hometown theater. Amenities like reclining seats, a bar, and everything else the big multi-plexes have with out the price or the lines. If you buy your ticket online you will spend maybe two minutes in the lobby to get popcorn and soda before walking into the theater. Only thing preventing a perfect review is the need to check on the bathrooms more often.

Cute little theater that is walking distance from our hotel. The seats recline and we were able to choose what is available. They also have a bar with different drink options for a reasonable price. I would recommend for a nice date night with your partner if you are in Leavenworth :)

What a great little quiet movie theater in the heart of historic downtown Leavenworth. The prices are great and they give discounts for military and seniors. The concessions are always full of items and they are much cheaper than your average movie theater. Everything has always been super clean and movies show on time. Support your local businesses!

The service at this little gem is outstanding! The manager went out of her way to clear up the online ordering problem--and even gave us a free popcorn! Apart from the service, the feel and comfort of this theater is equal to the ambiance of the large Kansas City movie theaters! Very impressed!
