I've been going to this location for years but after today I won't be back, the attached photo is the chicken kids meal I ordered for my son on our father son outing it took 14 minutes for any waitress break away from their phone and stop by considering neither of us had eaten the meals they brought.

My family and I love this place. Their food is delicious and comes out quick, and their brewed beer is amazing. The outdoor seating is our favorite. We are regulars and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.

We went here with a friend who suggested it. We brought our two dogs and they were very dog friendly, you just have to sit outside on the picnic tables which is fine on a nice day like when we were there. Our server was very nice and when I didn't like the beer I ordered at first- she happy swapped it out for us which was great. We ordered chips and queso/ salsa and the queso was very disappointing. I am a queso lover and only had one bite of it. The salsa was okay. After she swapped out my drink however we didn't see her for about 20-30 minutes and still hadn't ordered our food. We all ordered the LBC burger and it was very tasty. There were tasty sauces on it and it melted in your mouth. Definitely recommend the LBC burger!

Simple but perfect. Open bright dining with indoor seating, bar and outside patio. I had sour beer which was spot on. Menu is full of simple bar variety. Good flavors.

Grabbed a drink and a snack on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, service was not great. From something one of the servers said, I think someone or multiple people called in sick. We stood around for about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once we were seated, service was very slow. Beers were good! I like that they offer 5oz pours so I could try multiple beers. We ordered nachos. They were big, but I wish they would have had more cheese. The patio was good. I'd give it another chance in the hopes it was just an off day.

LBC West is not just another brewpub with experimental craft beer. Nope, it's beer, friendly staff, and some sensational tastes on a strong food menu tucked into a spot out in west LFK. The original LBC has a large, airy space in the Arts District, but this LBC spot just 'fits' right where it is in a 'burbs-ish -strip.Ask any brewer about his or her craft and prepare to listen a lot, as many artisan brewmasters love to talk their works. LBC West offers up a strong rotation from the hoppy to the filling, like a 'lectric or 'lectric-pina IPA to a Tandem stout. Five ounce taster pours are available for anything on tap for $3 each, which allows you to sample your faves and keep it wallet-friendly. I'm a malt lover, so sign me up for brown or red ales, and the Two Hands Anyhow is a spectacular, balanced English Ale. The food fare is a somewhat limited, but wow, talk about focus! Having sampled the LBC nachos (all the reg tops) and the waffle fries (just add the pimento cheese and thank yourself), I opted for the LBC mac n' cheese. It's a generous portion of rotini mixed with a white cheddar and bleu cheese sauce and this dish borders on sinfully delish! A pint and a bowl of mac/chz on a frigid January day and I was out of there for under $20. Not too shabby, and the staff makes it all worth it. Great beer, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere makes LBC West a sure win.

We went here because another restaurant downtown was quoting 1.5 hour wait times on a college basketball game day. We were sat here immediately. That should have been a red flag. But, we were just happy to be seated right away. I should have known that it was because the food is pretty bad. I didn't have any of the beer. Maybe that would have made the food taste better. I got the single patty lbc burger with fries. Said it came with a pickle spear. It didn't. Not a huge deal. Server brought out food in 2 separate trips roughly 10 minutes apart. The flavor of the burger was pretty bland. Fries were ok. I would never go back unless someone else really wanted to go there.

In a town where everything has changed at my favorite restaurants and nothing quite tastes as good as it used to I've come to rely on LBC as a consistently great meal on trips back to Lawrence. The menu is simple and concise and the food and beer are delicious. On a cold day, dipping the turkey club into a cup of tomato basil soup is about the most perfect comforting meal I've found in Lawrence.

We had not been there since the pandemic began. But now that we are fully vaccinated, we returned. We were very happy about the changes at the Lawrence Beer Co. West. When they first opened, we were told that there was chicken stock in the tomato basil soup, despite the fact that the "v" on the menu was supposed to mean it was vegetarian. Well now it really is vegetarian, without chicken stock and excellent. Also there have been many changes in the small menu including some innovative options, including some Argentinian preparations and sauces. We especially liked the Veggie Sammy sandwich on toasted sourdough bread with side salad, more then enough for a dinner and excellent. We liked the Brussels Sprouts appetizer, including a very generous serving. We did also get the tomato basil soup, which was first rate.Their best buys in wines are cans of wine. Three cans contain the equivalent of a bottle at a better price than their wine bottles. Next time will try their beer, which clearly is the specialty here. Our prior disappointments at that restaurant are now gone. It's a winner.

My experience here was an overall good one. The food was very tasty and served within a timely manner. My personal complaints would be the portion sizes felt a little small to me but that could just be me thinking with my stomach haha. The beer I ordered was very smooth and delicious as well. The "dessert pretzel" we ordered had me picturing something else other than what was served which was a bowl of ice cream with a few pretzel bites on top. We weren't disappointed with this treat however as the ice cream seemed high quality and "home made" being able to taste the ice cream salt and the pretzel bites being wonderfully soft and warm.
