It's actually one of the better rest areas that I've driven too and stopped at. It's more modern than most, clean restrooms, easy access and the parking is never too far either. I am upset the vending machines were just locked up the whole time. I was really hungry for a snack.

A clean and nice rest stop with the following amenities:Restrooms, Pay Phones, Picnic Tables, Vending Machines, Newspapers, Pet Area, ADA Accessible, and Maps available. Not as fancy as the rest stop we visited in Eagleville but still a nice place to take a break after a long drive.

This rest area is perfect to just pull over and sleep! But bring an extra blanket for your windows. There's street lights that are super bright! And the sun comes up really bright as well. So be prepared! Barely any traffic on this rest areas, all we saw were mostly truckers. There are two sections of bathrooms for each gender. They are super clean, and if you run out of toilet paper let the people in the office know! They helped me immediately. Some of their vending machines do not take card or cash. There's one in the middle that takes cash, then next to it the next machine takes only apply pay. So if you want a Coke make sure you have Apple Pay!

Praise The Lord, we're finally in Missouri; we didn't see a single rest area the entire time we were in Kansas (and we drove through Kansas for a LONG time). There is ample parking for both cars and trucks. The central building houses clean restrooms with both towel dispensers and hand dryers. The women's restroom even has a diaper changing station that folds down from the wall. There are water fountains inside and drink and snack vending machines (two of each) outside. They even have separate cans for recyclable aluminum cans next to the trash cans. There is plenty of grass on which you may walk around, enjoy a picnic, or let your pet stretch their legs. There are benches conveniently located under shady trees and plenty of picnic tables - some under shade structures - to help you take a break from a long drive up I35. There were families visiting at the tables, truckers grabbing a drink and a snack at the vending machines! And even a man walking his two dogs in the grass. At the Southern end of the rest area, just on the other side of a fence, were a group of cows enjoying the shady area under a tree. I know I enjoyed a few minutes watching them before heading back out on the road

At first I thought it was a little weird to write a review for a rest area but the two other reviews of this one assisted us in our travels. If you are on 35 in Missouri, there are only TWO rest stops and the other one has NO services making this one a much better choice! Restrooms are clean and there are a smattering of picnic tables, many of them in the shade. Ample parking. Maybe I need to review more rest areas!
