Landmark Restaurant

We stopped in for lunch on our way back to Nebraska from Branson on a whim. We were greeted with friendly service right away! I didn't catch our servers name, but she was fantastic. She helped my kids decide what to eat and made sure they were happy. My boyfriend had a double cheeseburger and said it was delicious, my blt and onion rings were spot on. Huge portions. More than reasonable prices. Excellent service. I'm so glad we stopped here. I love a small town diner that leaves us walking away with big smiles on our faces. Thank you!

So, I called in and placed an order for a cheeseburger & fries and was told to come pick it up in 30 minutes. Only to find out they don't make cheeseburgers on Sundays and I was lied to after traveling 15 miles to come pick it up.I decided to go ahead and get their pan fried chicken for $9, since I had to pick something else. The good is you get up to 3 sides included with your meal.The bad? I didn't think the chicken was all that great, it wasn't bad, but not to my liking. The mashed potatoes are the same, nothing special, but okay. I did like the green beans and jello, but they seem to buy them from the same place the school does because they taste exactly the same, lol.Overall, the food is average (2/3 stars) but the service today was very disappointing.

Really good chicken fried steak, homemade rolls, and blackberry cobbler. They serve pickled beets which are my favorite. They have pretty slow service on Sundays but that's because they are so packed! They have a limited menu on Sundays because they're cranking out food left and right. All and all it was great food and great people. I can't wait to go back on a Saturday

Sunday afternoon fried chicken almost as good as Grandma used to make and homemade pie slices as big as your face! The food is incredible and the portions are huge!Don't be dismayed by the old country kitsch décor and the fact that folks are still lighting up a smoke inside with the kids at the same table. The food and service are worth putting up with it, I promise. The service is outstanding, whether you're a local or not, you are treated like family from the moment you walk in the door.This is good family home cooking at very affordable prices, worth the stop!

Extremely nice people, it's not a fast food restaurant . If you love to find hidden treasures on your travel, this place is great. I truly loved all the historical memories on the walls. We met the owner Jim and he was truly a delight!

Great place for breakfast but not on Sunday morning. Waited 1/2 hour for them to open but they serve a limited white sheet menu dinners starting at 10:30.

Nice little place. Great prices. Open faced hot roast beef was excellent and the staff was very pleasant. Was there for lunch so I didn't get to try the fried chicken , which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars

I had a double cheeseburger and was wonderful. Real meat and bread toasted on grill with butter. Smelled as good as it tasted. I had a side salad and lettuce wasn't good at all plus was swimming in dressing. Husband had the catfish special. Was really good as well. One of his sides was creamed peas and he said they were wonderful. Then we decided to split a piece of coconut crème pie. OMG was it great! Said we should have started with the pie. Was warm, fresh with a flaky crust. Wonderful. VERY reasonably priced. Fried chicken on Sundays is great also. The only reason for a 4 star rating is the poor salad. Think the lettuce was way past due date. I didn't say anything to our waitress but probably should have. We will definitely be back for more great food.

Smoking allowed (yuck!).Worst coffee ever, and only milk as creamer.Breakfast arrived 45 minutes after order was placed.Never again!

This was a little out of our way but completely worth it! The fried chicken and meatloaf both were sensational!! The cherry cobbler took me back to my granny's "real crust"= butter and sugar!! Landmark was a hit for both my husband and and I!
