This is a beautiful private country club. I played a round with my son and prior to that we joined a par 3 tournament for members only. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We live in PA our son lives here. We would consider living here if we were not east coasters. A nice golf track with abundant practice areas and a very nice practice range. The facility includes a massive lake and its own police and post office and a new very large fitness and daycare facility. One of the finer private clubs I have been to. Highly recommend. I have grown up in and around Lake Quivira, and though it is a private community, I must say it has provided me with some of the fondest memories of my entire life. My grandparents live on the lake and we have had no shortage of visits to the beach and the clubhouse. We are always treated with the utmost respect and recognition and the atmosphere of family crossed with fun is something to never go unrecognized. The lake is kept clean and if ever there is an issue with a boat there are people on hand to help. Along with all of this, the food at the clubhouse is quite good. The grill is pretty basic with burgers and some type of market fish during the summer evenings. The inside dining area is expensive but delicious and there is even a venue on the top floor to have events and catering is an option! All in all, I have nothing bad to say about Lake Quivira. I only hope that I will have the opportunity to continue visiting for a long time to come!

My parents moved to LQ when I was 23 and I can't say enough amazing things about this place. The community is tight knit and makes you feel very welcome and the people are super nice. This is a hidden place that when I am there I forget I am in Johnson county and only 20 min from down town KC. The golf course is always in pristine condition and plays fairly easy with a few challenging holes. Although I don't currently live out there I can't wait until I am able to move out there one day.

I love coming to Lake Quivira. I have family that live here, and it's always a blast to visit. The golf course is a lot of fun. It's got decent length and a variety of holes. The course is usually in good shape, and if you time it right, you can usually get around fairly quickly. The lake itself is also terrific. The majority of LQ residents have socks and boats that they take out.The restaurant is pretty good. I like the food, and it's also really convenient for members who either live here and go grab a bite, or after a round or day out on the lake. Definitely get a chocolate shake to go. They're legit. I believe there are members of LQ that live in the premises, and also outside who come in to enjoy the amenities. Good times!
