Ladoga Ridge Winery

Recently visited Ladoga as part of a gathering organized by a long-time friend who happens to be a realtor. It was a fun event and although I don't drink others did and I overheard no complaints. The atmosphere is rustic, comfortable and pleasant. Service was excellent as well. That said I have no qualms about recommending Ladoga Ridge Winery for those whose passion is good wine or are just looking for a respite from the world.

If I could only ever visit winery for the rest of my life- it would be Ladoga. I've been coming here for years now and have never left disappointed. I love visiting wineries when I'm out of town, but not a single one has compared to Ladoga!Their wine is absolutely delicious and they've got very reasonably priced items for a charcuterie board (crackers, cheeses, salamis, etc.). The service is always great and both the inside and outdoor areas are always clean.The back patio is my favorite place to stay. There are outdoor games available to play, and you can explore and walk around the vineyard. It's just a beautiful property and I can't wait for spring!

Enjoyed a trip to this winery with a few friends! There is plenty of seating inside and outside, and the views outside are beautiful! I ordered the wine slushy and did a swirl of the red and white options and it didn't disappoint! I also tried the pretzel bites and the flatbread pizza and I would also recommend these, too! If you're in the area, make sure to drop in!

Not only are the grounds countryside-beautiful, but the interior is spacious, with a Mediterranean feel. It is one of the best wineries in the region. My pina colada slushy was super tasty. It was pure heaven to sit on the back patio overlooking the woods, sipping my drink, and listening to live jazz music. I couldn't think of a better way to relax and enjoy a Sunday afternoon.

Who needs to go to Wine Country in California when you have great wineries right here in the KC area! Located in Smithville, on acres of grapes and vineyards, Ladoga Ridge was the absolute perfect place for a wine double date. Family owned and operated since 2011, Ladoga offers a wide variety of dry, semi-sweet, sweet, reds, whites, and fruits to pair with local cheeses and meats. They offer tastings as well 5, for $5 to ensure you like what you are ordering. We took 2 bottles home, plus their mulling spices because I fell in LOVE with their mulled wine. On Friday and Saturday nights they have locals bands play outside, they light the fire pit, and turn on the hanging tree lights to create the perfect ambience for a winery evening. Ladoga is named after the dirt on the land, the owners have perfected the grape growing process then turning them into wine. I can only imagine the amount of time it takes, but the flavors are well worth it. Would 100% visit again.

Their wine is so good! Had a peach wine slushie! It was amazing. Also did a quick wine tasting and it was really great. The inside is very nice and lots of places to sit, even an outdoor area to sit.

Visited Ladoga today for some wine. We got there around 12:15 and it wasn't busy at all. You can taste two wines for free. Unfortunately, we didn't love any of the wines we tried. The vignoles was the one I preferred, if you like dry wines the selection is small. We ended up ordering some wine slushees, which were pretty good. The staff was friendly and the property is pretty. If you like sweet wines, you might be able to find something you like.

This is a beautiful winery with terrific wine, friendly staff and great view! Comfortable seating both inside and outside. Perfect for teachers who don't want to run into their students while they are enjoying some wine.

Beautiful vineyard reminded me of napa valley California and the red wine slush was very good

Great place to relax and enjoy the country side and a good glass of wine. Always nice staff
