Amanda did a deep tissue massage. I feel so relaxed and my neck is no longer stiff or sore. I feel as loose as a goose - like I could spin my head 360°.

Booked a 1/2 and 1/2 massage and signature facial after a cancellation. I was impressed the owner kept my name and number and really called when she found out she could squeeze me in after I had checked on availability. The facial was fantastic and included an enzyme treatment. I veryMuch enjoyed the diffused oils and the nature sounds piped in the room. My skin is still glowing. David was my masseuse. He was super engaged and made sure I was doing ok throughout. I will most definitely be back.

I have been going to La Vita for many years - since my Girl Scout troop got me a gift certificate. Now I ask for gift certificates for Mother's Day, birthday, etc. they are so friendly and the services are wonderful. You get a discount for pre-booking your next appt. I recommend the 90 min half and half (half Swedish, have deep tissue)!

I had never been to a spa for a massage in a strip mall. I was hesitant, but had slept funny the night before and had a major kink in my neck. We had driven 8 hours already today and still have 9 more tomorrow. My husband found this place on yelp and since I was desperate I thought I'd go for it.I was pleasantly surprised. Walked in and had no idea I was in a strip mall. The past few spas I have been to did have the nice bonus of the bathrobe and shower facility, but those bonuses come with a hefty price too. Nice seating area, nice waterfall. Heated massage table. Very quite as well.Chelsey the massage therapist was fantastic. I did an hour massage 30 minutes deep and 30 minutes Swedish. She worked magic!! Perfect pressure. Never judge a book by it cover. From the outside- typical strip mall- inside very relaxing and great massage.88$ for an hour massage. Fine price by me!! The last spa massage I received only a month or two ago 220$ for one hour- guess that was a pricey rental of a bathrobe!!Defiantly recommend!!

I can't recommend Sam enough! I've been to multiple massage therapists in the area and Sam is the best! She seems to have an intuitive sense about what you need- I will be back!

I came in for a massage while visiting from Sacramento. I'm permanently disabled for a lumbar spine injury and normally wouldn't go anywhere but my regular guy, but being 1500 miles away and pretty fatigued from flying, I needed relief. Yelp of course puts the vast majority of reviews on the "not recommended" page, and after checking those, la vita Bella seemed to review the best. I asked them for their deep tissue specialist, and I was set up with Heather. Normally, I won't get massages from women (always all elbows), but I took a swing.She did not disappoint. Where elbows came into play, she excercised extreme precision. But her fingers were masterful, and her knowledge of anatomy and overall skill set were expert. I had only booked a 60, but she covered a lot more ground than I expected and we made the decision in the moment to stretch it to 90. While I can certainly deal with a lot more pressure than she applied (and would normally pipe up about it), what she delivered was so incredibly therapeutic that I didn't want to give her any course correction. I was walking on clouds for the remainder of my trip, and I can't remember having slept better in a long time.I highly recommend requesting Heather. She's got skills, and if you tell her your goals and give her carte blanche, she delivers. The price point is definitely top tier (so be prepared), but worth every penny. Should I find myself in Shawnee again anytime soon, I'll be seeking her out whether I'm feeling the need or not. There's no downside to feeling better, even if you feel great, and now I know where to return in Kansas! :)

I've had 2 out of 4 sessions canceled by the salon the day of service. I asked to be moved to a new masseuse and she did not listen to my needs. I was overly sore for three days after my first session with her. I went one more time to see if we could come to an understanding. At this session my masseuse spent the entire session clearing her throat and the people in the room next to us were taking and laughing so loud it was impossible for me to relax during my session. I ended my session early and cancelled my remaining sessions and will not be going back!

The first time I went, I had a great time and an over all great experience. I even booked a facial for a few weeks later, and I still have not been able to get that facial. They have called and rescheduled me four times now. So if you want a place that you can count on this is not it! They double book and have employees that don't show up for work. I have neve been more disappointed in a company before. They are very unprofessional.

I was a long term client of Massage Heights. Then they messed up my facial appointment for various reasons which are not important to this review. Massage Heights ' action caused me to search for alternative facial resources in my area. To my delight I not only found La Vita Bella Day Spa but was able to get in that very night!!! My experience for the last two months has been invigorating on so many levels!!! The ambiance they have created is one of soothing, caring, peaceful energies!!
